VEELA AND THE CANDY COLLECTORS

Underneath the azure sky, in a charming town named Von Lightcastle, nestled amidst lush green meadows and picturesque landscapes, there lived an enchanting girl named Veela. She was known far and wide for her beguiling charm and her peculiar fondness for candies. Veela's fascination with candies was not ordinary, it was a craving so intense that it often led her to mysterious adventures.

Veela also loved playing outdoors with her friends. She had an amusing group of friends, Bane – the mischief maker, Miranda – the secret keeper, Crane – the science enthusiast, Rahmat – the compassionate friend and Heather – the quick-witted nerd. They gathered every evening after school to play in the apple orchard which was a block away.

Today all of them were waiting in the orchard when Miranda got off the bus with an additional bag filled with candies. The bag had multi-coloured stripes and one could see a mix of delicious candies from lemon drops to licorice, gummy braids to gummy wands inside. She ran across the road to meet her friends and showed Veela the bag.

“See my candy hamper, I got it yesterday from Candy Crafters in Hudson Town. You need to visit the store Veela, the candies there are extraordinary! I really had a great time with my aunt choosing from boxes full of candies. Not only that, they had big doll houses made of peppermint twists, chocolate fountains and strawberry jam biscuit pops!” said Miranda, jumping on the sand pit they were playing in.

Veela was really excited seeing the candy bag. She took it in her hands and looked carefully at the bag. It was made of a pretty rainbow-hued translucent paper with Candy Crafters written in a

vintage font having lined beautiful flourishes. She opened it carefully and took a handful of candy out from the bag. She ate a peppermint twist, a mint choco cup and a gumball. Her mouth was stuffed but she wanted to ask Miranda when they could visit the store.

“Miranda, Crane, Bane, Rahmat and Heather, we need to go to Candy Crafters. This candy is so chewy, just how I like it! The way Miranda describes it, seems like this could be our next big adventure after the Toy Tribe. What do you guys think?” asked Veela in an excited tone.

Crane looked at her and said, “What if the candies come alive too?

Like the toys in Toy Tribe?”

“No way! Is that even possible?” said Rahmat and Veela in unison, looking at each other with their eyes as big as jelly beans.

“Crane, what if someone cast a spell on the candy store? Will we see walking licorice and gingerbread men then?” said Miranda smiling with a puzzled expression.

“Let’s just go! I have to see what’s inside!” said Heather to all of them.

“First, let’s make a list of the candies we want to buy. Then we head out. Done?” said Veela, already imagining jumping on a mountain of candy.

“Okay” said all of them together and dispersed.

After two days, they met again in the apple orchard and started discussing which candies they would like to buy.

Crane added fruit rolls and sweet leather to his list, while Heather wanted to try rainbow gumdrops, Rahmat and Bane had their list full of lollipops, pastilles and toffee candy. Miranda said she wants
