“As soon as there is a need to ‘spotlight’ the approaching frame, an image appears in my mind. Then I repeat it in words and reinforce it all with positive feelings.”

First you need to activate the plait, then draw the image on the screen, or say it silently to yourself. In this order.

“How important is the issue of having faith in what you spotlight? It is not that I doubt my desires, so much as that, sometimes, depending on my mood, doubtful thoughts encroach on my mind.”

Faith will come later. First, take action. This is why Tufti recommends frequent practice: firstly, to develop the plait, and secondly, to alter the weave of your conditioned thinking. When you repeatedly check that the plait works, then you will believe in it.

“Are there any safety precautions or recommendations for working with the plait? What are the do’s and don’ts?”

You can read about the plait in more detail in the chapter “Plait with Flow”. As soon as you locate your plait, various sensations will arise — people experience this differently. You may experience uncomfortable sensations temporarily, but these will soon pass. Nothing disturbing enough to warrant speaking of safety precautions has been noted so far.

“Is it worth activating the plait during prayer? Or does the power of prayer not require strengthening by means of the plait?”

This is not for me to judge, as I am not a man of the cloth. But I think that if you address God, He will hear you anyway. If you address reality, or rather, if it is your intention to change reality, then the plait will significantly strengthen your intention.

“I have two problems: I can’t concentrate for any length of time on visualizing my goal. Nor can I picture the plait. If there is an algorithm for this, please write.”

It is not essential that you be able to imagine your goal for any length of time. The plait technique is designed for short moments of concentrated focus on the goal frame. For more information on how to picture the plait, see the chapter “Plait with Flow”.

“A question: when spotlighting a frame, a goal, should you spotlight just one frame, or can you spotlight one, two, or three? After all, life is multifaceted; you want this, that, the third, and the tenth...”

If you are already a plait master, you can spotlight a dozen frames in one plait session. As long as you are capable of concentrating on all those frames while keeping your plait activated. In addition, and not unimportantly, none of these frames should contradict one another. None of your frames should contradict another under any circumstances.

But generally speaking, it is better to spend each plait session on a single frame. This approach is more reliable, and you stop you from getting confused. As for the other frames, likewise, work with them individually, over the course of the day. You can spotlight various individual frames a number of times; the most important thing is to be consistent.

“This question may be repeated often, but here it is: I cannot feel the plait and I don’t understand when to activate it. I don’t feel it physically or energetically, but it does work when I try to do small things: sit on a specific seat in the bus, or acquire something. At the same time, I repeat, there is no moment of plait activation! Or so I think. I do not push it; I do not tense my muscles; maybe I should not wait for a sensation of heat or energy to appear between the shoulder blades, and instead, should just imagine that it is there?! This technique is amazing! I really want to get to grips with it!”

If you cannot feel the plait, then either you do not feel your energy at all, or your plait is severely atrophied. What you do not use atrophies, like the muscles. The plait needs to be developed with constant exercise. Work with the energies as described in the chapter “Plait with Flow”.

If your plait has atrophied, this does not mean that it will not work on the most simple things. Even if you do not feel anything, it is enough to focus your attention on the spot between the shoulder blades and then spotlight the frame. This will be sufficient. In the book Priestess Itfut, even the priestess could not feel the plait right from the very outset.

The time will come when your plait will develop, and you will be able to manipulate it as easily as you do your hand, and then you will be able to manifest more complex things.

“What should you do if you can’t reach a clear sensation of the plait or its tip? In this case, can you just visualize the plait (trying still to catch the sensation of it)? Will it still be effective?”

Matilda, in the book Priestess Itfut, also failed to grasp a clear sense of the plait. She felt a kind of heaviness in her back, which can be interpreted in different ways. Matilda did not feel her plait specifically as a plait jutting out of the back of her head and rising when it was activated. She had an intermediary, a bow, that caused her to pay attention to the area of her spine — that is all. Whenever she focused her attention on the bow (not on the plait, note), everything worked out for her. And it will work for you, too.

But of course, it is definitely worth visualizing the plait and trying to grasp the sensation of it. It will manifest itself in one form or another. Then you will feel it for yourself and you will understand what it is.

“Could you draw an approximate diagram of the plait, what it looks like, and where it is located.”

A diagram of the plait and its position will not help, and may even hinder, because it is a subjective feeling, experienced by each in their own way. You simply need to feel that there is something in the area of the shoulder blades. If the feeling reappears from time to time, then you know that it is real. What kind of feeling this is, does not matter. Sensations experienced in other places, in the solar plexus, for example, are something else. The plait is situated just behind the shoulder blades. If you rack your brains wondering where exactly, and how precisely, nothing will happen. Do not put so much pressure on yourself. Sense that there is something behind your shoulder blades, then, without letting go of this feeling, imagine the frame you desire in front of you on your inner screen, or in thoughts and words. It is simple: you feel it, focus for a minute at most, record the frame, and then shake off the sensation.

“Imagine two first graders, № 1 and № 2. № 1 is learning to solve difficult problems on their own, so it takes them more time. № 2 has a magic wand that helps them solve problems quickly without any effort. By the time these first graders reach the 11th grade, № 1 has experience and knowledge, knows how to solve any task, and has great capabilities. If you take the wand away from № 2, it will become apparent that they have not progressed from the level of first-grader. There will have been neither growth nor development. Do not take this literally. It is an approximate picture, and not meant as criticism. Is the Tufti method a magic wand? A way of avoiding obstacles?”

You are no doubt trying to say that a schoolboy who uses the plait might not learn anything? Or pass exams without having to prepare for them? That is not how it works. The plait is not a magic wand. It just helps you move on to a film roll, in which you pick an easy question or are set a familiar task. But you still cannot get away without studying. How can an athlete manage without training sessions? Unfavorable situations sometimes arise during competitions and exams. The plait simply enables you to cross to a film roll in which the situations are favorable, and everything goes smoothly. So-called miracles happen in the simplest cases. In more difficult situations, you have to work with the plait, and put in the physical effort.

“The plait is not working for me at all. I am even starting to doubt whether this is all true. I am doing everything right, I think. I imagine that there is something like a plait behind me at the level of the shoulder blades, and with this image on the inner screen, I switch on my desire and hold it for about a minute. In cases where I do this before events that may go one way or the other, the 50/50 statistics mean nothing. If I simply imagine an event that I want to manifest, so far nothing has come true, although I repeat the technique quite often. What am I doing wrong? I do not feel any special sensations. I just pretend that the plait exists.”

This should work. If it does not work, there may be three reasons for this: 1. The plait is very poorly developed, and you need to practice more often. 2. You are making an effort. It takes effort to lift a barbell. If you apply the same diligence to working with the plait, you will not get the results you want.

Note that if you are trying very hard, pushing yourself, and your muscles are all tense, this indicates that inner intention is at work. Outer intention does not belong to you, hence the name. What is required here is not sweat but simply for you to “lift your little finger”. You just pretend that you are intending to do something yourself. After all, it is not you, who can free up the space for yourself at the parking lot. But outer intention can. And for this to happen, all outer intention requires is your little finger — the plait. The plait is your “ruse” for outer intention.

With inner intention, you take action ahead. The plait is located behind you. So you create the illusion for outer intention that it is not you who is carrying out the action, it is happening of its own accord. Outer intention is when things happen of their own accord, aside from you. You just hint at what needs to be done. Hence the expression, “you had nothing to do with it”. You secretly send a hint to outer intention about what needs to be done.

And finally, the third reason is your weave, your snail house, your conditioning: the conditioned thinking that you are not capable of shaping your own reality. Practice more often without focusing too much attention on the setbacks, and when good fortune occurs, lock it in with a thought-marker. It is here, when the confirmations that it has worked come to you, that effort is required. Savor each thought-marker with perseverance, satisfaction and pleasure. Everything else — the plait and the other principles — requires ease and effortlessness.

“As soon as I read about it, I wanted to apply it straight away. For about two days it worked. Yes! Of course, I was delighted because I was out of work, desperate for money, and the plait trick worked. You could even say that it ‘produced’ for two whole days. I was lucky both in the small things and overall. Then, it was as if it was all cut off, and to this day, there is no response. I follow the instructions to the letter. Why did everything work out in the first two days after reading the book, and now, nothing? For my own part, I still trade currencies on the stock exchange, so I tried to use the plait and intention to shift into a new frame in which the price would go where I needed it to — and I, accordingly, would make a profit on the stock exchange (all this mentally, visually). But for some reason, it is not working. Even the opposite, the price goes the other way, and I make a loss. Perhaps there are certain limitations to this technique?”

There is only one limitation here — the film roll must be yours, the frame also yours, and you are the central figure who is successful; the other characters, like extras, are there in the background. If in the frame you include other people that are on other film rolls, it is unlikely to work. You cannot influence other people. (You can, of course, through NLP, and all sorts of manipulations, but that is a different story.) Nor can you influence the script, “where the price goes”.

It is even harder on the stock market. Here you are not alone. There is a whole horde of people like yourself who want to make a profit. And each person has their own script — for one, it us to get rich, for another, to go broke. It is too difficult to shift onto the film roll you want, if it involves a lot of other people. Or rather, it is difficult not for you but for reality.

Some kind of negative thought-marker is creating a mental block. The plait does not yield one hundred percent results (only a high degree of probability), especially if, I repeat, the interests of many others are wound up in the “deal”. Never concentrate on the setbacks. These should be ignored, seen simply as “side effects”.

This is what you can do. If your task is to play on the stock exchange, set your frame as simply as possible. For example, not as you put it, “the price goes one way or the other,” but as the end result, i.e you make a profit.

Similarly, in the casino, for example, do not compose a frame in which the ball falls on your number; instead, set the very last frame: you collecting your money from the cashier. Do not set a precise amount. You are simply receiving the money. “How much?” is a difficult question. There are so many people in the casino that this will be tricky for reality to calculate.

And one more thing. This kind of reality (especially when it concerns money) should be set beforehand and repeated. Instant good luck is a rare thing. Do not be fooled into thinking that you will wake up one morning, visualize your reality, and enjoy immediate success. No, here what it required is consistent work with the plait, moreover work that is relaxed, free of the tension created by expectation. Easy come, easy go. But when it comes to thought-markers of success, here you should put in the effort — clearly register in your thinking: what works, what you are capable of, your abilities.

That said, I really do not advise playing in a casino, on the stock exchange or any other form of gambling. Not because it is impossible to win, but because in these types of activity, it is difficult to maintain the level of impeccability required, the kind of impeccability that I mentioned above.

“Are there any exercises for training the plait?”

First you need to feel the plait. You can read about this in more detail in the chapter “Plait with Flow”. How it will feel is for you to find out. People experience this is many different ways. It is unique to the individual. The only exercise for training the plait is to regularly spotlight your target frames.

“Recently, I have begun to notice that any event I wish for with the plait subsequently manifests in my dreams. If you dream an event that you have wished for with the plait, does this mean that the order is already fulfilled, or will it still become manifest in my physical reality?”

It depends how determined you are, how seriously you take the task of reality-making, how strongly you believe it to be possible. I am concerned about the word you use: “wish for,” as opposed to “set”.

You need to set reality, not wish for it. Do not dream— intend. In the book, Itfut and Matilda sometimes say, “That’s what I have decided, period.” This is an intense method for setting your reality, in which you gather all your powers of determination, and pour them into a single unshakable intention.

But you can also set your reality more calmly, without tension, even without will power. You just have to believe, or rather know, that it will work. This kind of calm faith, faith as knowing, comes with practice. You need to set your reality more often, from the simplest events to ambitious goals. As you continue to receive confirmation, more and more, you will acquire faith as knowing. Your mental “weave” will change.

“How do you achieve more complex goals? Still by dispassionately and impartially drawing pictures, and linking them to the plait?”

Not necessarily dispassionately and impartially. If you like the frame that you are spotlighting, you can engage emotionally. For example: “I’m rocking in a rocking chair beside my own fireplace in my own house.” You can activate the plait and take pleasure in imagining the frame.

Or set the frame with full determination: “That’s what I’ve decided, period. I will have it.” Calmly, but with the utmost determination.

The important thing is this: in the moment that you spotlight the frame, there must be no emotion present that would create excess potential, such as lust, fear of defeat, or doubt. Once you have started, you should cast all doubts aside. Take action. Leave your doubts in the past. You might doubt a bit, and doubt a bit more, but then focus and set your reality in a single moment with calm determination.

In everything else, complex goals are achieved in the same way as simple ones, they just take more time as well as consistent work with the goal-setting techniques: spotlighting the frame, setting the reflection. Besides setting your goal with the plait, you must also live your life as if the goal had already been achieved.

“Could you please explain: are the plait and the assembly point the same thing or not?”

They are not the same. When the plait is activated, its tip enters the assembly point. But you do not have to know this. No one knows exactly how our energy-information field works. Even our physical anatomy is not yet fully understood.

“If you actually plait your hair, will it help?”

No, it will not help.

“Is it possible that if I am left-handed, my intention will work in the opposing way, I mean in a mirror-like way, producing the opposite of my order?”

Whether you are right- or left-handed, it makes no difference. It will have no effect whatsoever.

“My question concerns practice: when using the ‘Glass of water’ and ‘Intention generator’ techniques, does it make sense to simultaneously activate the plait? Or is it better to keep these things separate?”

There is no point in activating the plait when using these techniques. Each technique works in its own way. To achieve the goal, it is good and effective to use all three techniques: generator, glass, plait, just apply them seperately. I do not say this because you ought not to, or because it is impossible. Anything is possible. It is just that you will find it easier this way.

“Why is it not always possible to activate the plait? On what does this depend? And also, when I do manage to activate the plait, I feel it between the shoulder blades, but for some reason I also get a sensation in the solar plexus, like when I am nervous, for example, although in this moment, I am completely calm.”

Not everyone manages it straight away. Those who have never worked with energies before need a little practice. The plait, as well as the ability to work with it, have to be developed. Read the chapter “Plait with Flow”. The sensations you are experiencing in the solar plexus are false and should pass. Ignore them. Focus on the plait, the plait that is behind you, in the area of the shoulder blades.

“At the end of the day, I discover that I have almost been asleep all day and have used the algorithm very little. This is a revelation to me — I am not living from conscious awareness at all, I am just an ordinary sleep-walker! I am working on this now!

Question: when I activate the plait, I notice that I become drowsy and start yawning. I just want to close my eyes and sleep for a couple of hours. It is a strange state. What is this about? In my usual gear, my energy levels are fine — I get enough sleep, eat right, and take plenty of physical exercise.”

Drowsiness is a sign that changes are taking place in your energy body — something is being supplemented, corrected. Many of those who are only just beginning to engage in energy practices experience drowsiness. And working with the plait, especially when it is used in conjunction with “flows,” is certainly an energy practice.

“A question concerning the plait: I cannot picture it visually; could you be more precise about how to interpret your phrase: ‘at an angle to the back.’ How is this exactly? Am I right in thinking that if I, say, move my arm a little forward, the plait rises, only very precisely in the opposite direction?”

Yes, your understanding is correct. How else can the phrase “at an angle” be understood? This question is asked a lot. You are like foreigners who do not understand the meaning of certain words. Find a girl with a plait, take hold of the plait by the tip and lift the plait up a little, at an angle to the back. Now do you understand what an angle is?

However, the plait does not have to be imagined specifically as a plait. Just pay attention to the area behind you, around the level of the shoulder blades.

If you do not feel anything, then inhale and imagine an arrow hanging vertically down your back, from the back of the head to the shoulder blades — just an arrow, like a vector. Now breathe out and imagine that the arrow has turned slightly so that it is positioned at an angle to your back.

If you still do not feel anything, try to initiate the sensation, and call it forth deliberately. Start slowly; slowly breathe in through your nose, and at the same time, feel something just behind your shoulder blades beginning to rise or extend. This will be the plait. Breathe out and push it back a little — it activates most effectively on the outbreath.

If you can sense the plait but only poorly, then you will have to work with it a little, as well as exercise the different sensations you experience behind the shoulder blades whenyou inhale and exhale. Initiate these sensations yourself, as far as you can — just go with it — and the braid will eventually wake up. It is worth training yourself to activate the plait on a strong outbreath.

“I have this special trait — a complete lack of the ability to visualize. That is, I cannot, for example, visually recall an event Scientists have identified this irregularity and refer to it as ‘aphantasia’. In total, 6% of the world’s population suffer from this condition. What am I to do?”

If your visualization skill is weak or does not work at all, use thought-forms to spotlight the frame. These work, too. The book Individual Reality Projector gives many examples of effective practical thought-forms.

“I am afraid to sound ridiculous or very stupid, but please could you explain to me which end of the plait spotlights the intention — the end by the shoulder blades, or the opposite end, the end that is turned away from the shoulder blades?”

What do you care which end, and where? The feeling of the plait itself is what is essential and of itself sufficient. You do not need to know anything else beyond this.

1.Concentration on a given frame should be like a flash: short and bright;

3.Whether it is an image, an affirmation, or a feeling, it works if you observe the two previous points.

And most importantly, if it does not work, do not give up. The skill will come, it is just a matter of time.

And by the way, with a short flash of the image, importance does not have time to ripen — a very interesting effect. It is as if the brain does not have time to catch up, and so it does not create any concepts around the topic, how necessary it is, or whether it is even possible. The plait is an incredible thing!”

I had been thinking (or rather, wishing) in connection with my work. And this is what happened! My intention got caught up in these ‘ripples in the water’ and came into being just a few days later.”

“Does the priestess’ practice as described in the book Priestess Itfut — the one with the hands raised to the level of the shoulders, manipulation of the lever-trigger, and stray thought at the back of the mind — only work in meta-reality, or can the same practice be adopted in our reality?”

Of course, it all works, only in meta-reality the realization is instantaneous, whereas in physical reality, it works with a certain delay factor, the duration of which depends on the complexity of the goal.

“What is the magical pass that Itfut performs in order to fulfill her desires, leaning forward and then straightening up and raising her hands to the level of the shoulders? Is this a new technique or an intention amplifier?”

It is a plait activation method. Try making the same movement: lean forward slightly, then on the outbreath, quickly straighten up and, at the same time, bend your arms at the elbows and raise them to the level of the shoulders. Notice any sensations that may appear in the area of the shoulder blades.

“I can’t seem to sense the feeling of the plait extended outwards at a distance from the back. When I imagine the plait — just as it is described in the book, for some reason I get a slight aching sensation between the shoulder blades, not at a distance away from them. It is as if my back is aching after a hard day’s work, although the ache is specifically between the shoulder blades. Maybe this is what it is meant to feel like?”

It is not essential that you sense the plait at a distance from the body. If either in the back or slightly beyond the back you catch a feeling, and the feeling repeats from one time to the next, this is the feeling that will work for you. For many, the plait manifests itself individually, in different ways.

“I sense the plait at the back of my neck. Can this be right?”

The sensations should be behind you, at the level of the shoulder blades. Anywhere other than this, the sensations are false.

“In what form should I imagine the plait? Is it a plait woven from hair? Can I picture it in this way?”

Do not picture it in any way. The plait should be felt, however that is.

“If I understand correctly from your books, you don’t focus on stopping the internal dialogue (monologue) when carrying out the Transurfing practices. And you say that there is no need to free the mind from thoughts, that it is enough to choose the right thoughts, those necessary to the realization of the goal. But would we not accelerate the realization of the desired goal, if we were to visualize it, or articulate it with silence within? In this case, the constant mental chatter would not interfere with the set thought-form.”

You cannot permanently reside in a state of inner quiet, can you? Anyway, what would be the need? The plait technique consists of focusing for a few moments during which you hold nothing but the target frame on the inner screen and/or in your thoughts. With this level of concentration, any other thoughts will be discarded anyway.

“Once a little time has passed after activating the plait, I get a slight itch between my shoulder blades.”

This is an incidental feeling. It ought to pass.

“I have one problem, but it is a long-running one — material prosperity. What is the best way to use the plait and the mirror in this case?”

There is no short answer to this question. For my part, there is too much that needs to be said, and for your part, too much to do. Surely you do not think that money grows on trees, even when using the plait? Sometimes, in the small things, money really does grow on trees, but achieving sustainable prosperity takes hard work.

You should get yourself Individual Reality Projector and work with that. It contains a detailed description of what to do and how. Next, continuing to work with the “Projector,” you use the plait while scrolling through thought-forms and spotlighting target frames. The principle of setting a reflection is used to create a virtual reality in which you are a very wealthy individual.

As a result of this comprehensive practice, your reality will begin to change. You will be offered opportunities (certain doors will open). Your task is to consciously observe reality so that you do not fail to notice them when they appear.

“What is the best way to use the plait to achieve long-term goals (house, apartment)?”

As usual, consistently spotlight the frame in which you are living in your own home. But it is not just the plait you need to work with. It is desireable that you use all the Tufti techniques as a package, for then life will work out across the board, and your goal will be achieved faster.

“When I focus conscious attention on the spot between my shoulder blades, I find myself wanting to take a deep breath, which I then do, and I also get goosebumps. Is this how it should be? I can feel the plait. But I also imagine that there is a video camera at the tip of the plait, from which a beam extends and plays my movie (my thoughts) as it were, out into the future. Can the plait be used like this?”

Goosebumps are an incidental sensation; this will pass. You need to focus solely on the plait itself. There is no need for any “videocameras” to dangle from the tip. It is too complicated. The feeling should be simple. Just catch the feeling behind the shoulder blades, as it is for you, and strengthen it through practice — spotlight the necessary frames regularly, consistently.

“I feel absolutely nothing behind my back. No sensations at all. I can’t even set my reality for a bus when I need one. So just how do you feel the plait?”
