Beschreibung

From writer Shane McKenzie comes three tales running the gamut from a classic horror story of three boys stumbling onto a most unique photograph in the woods to an act of revenge gone astronomically wrong (or right?) to Siamese twins with very poor social skills. Creepy, unusual, and grotesque, McKenzie delivers the goods in a collection that will give even the most seasoned horror reader whiplash. Contains the reprinted novella 'What We Found in the Woods' (originally published with the title of 'Polaroid') and the stories 'Radioactive Revenge' and 'We'.

“I can’t right now,” Eli said looking across the room to the 1,000-piece Tyrannosaurus rex puzzle he had been working on. He had the edges done and most of the dinosaur’s face.

“Ah, come on. It’s summer vacation. We’ve barely been outside at all. Trust me. You want to see this. Now hurry up, will you?”

Eli sighed. He knew Grayson was right. Usually during summer vacation, the two boys would hardly ever go inside, would spend all their time in the woods behind their neighborhood. They liked to call it the forest, just because it sounded cooler than . But Eli was worried about his mother. She had been crying—which was nothing new—but lately it had been getting worse. She just sat around all day watching TV, drinking coffee. Her face was all puffy and always pink. It had seemed like she was getting better at the beginning of the year, and Eli had hoped things could start getting back to normal again.
