Flomo Johnson, a boy from Monrovia made it big on the London Stock Exchange. But, he has returned home to expose the malfeasance of AM Corp -- an international conglomerate offering "clean drinking water" to West African states. 

The corporation, have built a resort island above rocky outcrops containing mineral water in the Atlantic. But, strange goings on convince Liberian locals that the spirit of Mami Wata has been awakened. The ancient deity seems intent on bringing death and destruction to the island, the corporation, and the residents of West Africa. 

Flomo, along with Zimbabwean tour guide Edith, and two journalists must race to uncover the truth, before disaster strikes.
