Where's Our Grandad?

Nothing pleased Ben and Leo more, than visiting their Grandad, and todays visit was very special. Today the two little cousin's would be helping their Grandad celebrate his Birthday.

The two little mice, didn't have to trave far, to visit their beloved grandad. Each visit was, as always, very special.

Visiting their Grandad, normally meant having lots of fun, and having new, and exciting adventure's.

Grandad lived in a small mouse hole, nestling in the corner of the farmyard, owned by 'Old Farmer Jack.' It was ideal for the two little explorers, who loved to have great, and exciting adventure's around the farm. 

With plenty of secret place's in, and around the farm, it was a great place to explore. The cousin's had lots of fun, around their Grandad's house. 

Grandad's large family had arrived early as usual to enjoy the annual family get together. This year's visit would be an extra special occasion, and therefore called for an extra special party.

Nana Sue as usual had supplie plenty of food and drink, all neatly laid out on the large dining room table. Lots of freshly made cheese sandwiches, and freshly baked cream cakes, Jelly, ice cream, and plenty of fruit and nuts. Nana had laid on a really good spread of food as usual. 

The room was beautifully decorated with brigthly coloured balloons, and long colourful trimmings, all dangling from the ceiling. On the wall over the small fireplace, hung a long colourful banner which simply said: 

'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!'

 The two little mice only had one thing on their minds today though. They wanted to find their Grandad and go outside on another exciting adventure.

 'Shall we go and see what Grandad has planned for us today?' Ben asked Leo, excitedly.

 'Yes! Yes!”' replied Leo clapping his little paws in excitement.

 'Lets go,' he added as the two little mice skipped off in search of their Grandad.

 The first place the little cousin's searched was the kitchen, and they were greeted with the wonderful smell of Nana Sue's freshly baked cakes in the oven.

'Mmmmmm,' said Leo and Ben together.

  'Have you seen our Grandad?' Leo asked his Nana, who was busy removing freshly baked cakes from the oven.

 'No sorry! my little darlings, I haven’t seen him in a while. As you can see I have been quite busy baking this morning,' said Nana.

'But just a minute, I'm sure he said he would be going into the hay barn this morning,' she remembered.

'Thank's Nana, that's great,' said Ben.
