WONDER BOY WINY AND PET WIMPY ON AN ADVENTURE

Winy and Wimpy at School

Winy carried his pet squirrel wimpy, on his shoulder and went off to school.

As the class began and the children settled down, Winy took the usual place in the bench between two girls.

Wimpy always took his place near his master’s class room window. By the time Winy finished his classes, he would have climbed the trees in the school compound, hopping on branches, his bushy tail swashing and swinging, gnawing his teeth in the tree, holding the nuts in his paws.

Wimpy would have roamed all around the school, climbed over the gate, running over the compound, by the time Winy finished his classes. He knew when the school got over and Winy would take him home.

As the teacher finished her class and went out, the bully of the class came to Winy desk, taking his books and putting it at the top of the window sill. He teased the pony-tailed girl beside him. He went around and had a fight with another boy in the corridor.

As the school got over, and all went home, Winy & wimpy climbed the school bus and saw that the bully was pushing some boys behind him.

Winy made his way to his room and sat thinking about his school. All through the night he thought of the bully in his class. His thoughts got merged with his dreams wherein the bully was attacking him. His dreams took a wishful turn, wherein Winy saw himself having grown a big moustache and giving it back to the bully.

Winy got up with a feeling of extra energy in his physic and bought a big moustache from the store.

Winy fixed it in his face, changed his eye balls purple, fixed two false teeth in front and went to school with Wimpy following him. The children were coming into the school and as Winy noticed, the bully was snatching a boy’s water bottle and preparing for a fight.

Winy slowly approached him and the bully turning back, punched him. Winy gave a scary look and cried hoarsely. The bully was taken back and not realizing as to who this scary person was, tried to run away. Winy got hold of him and punched him. Wimpy instantly knew that it was not a friend and jumped over the bully and gnawed him in the face with his teeth. The boy fell down with scratches on his face. The bully apologized and promised he won’t trouble anyone in the class henceforth.

He stopped troubling everyone in class. “My idea has worked wonders” Winy thought. Thus started his thought woven dreams and his strange stories in far off places.

Winy went home and dreamt of many things in strange places. He dreamt he was flying a rocket and was wandering around in it, meeting many new people.

In the morning, he woke up with this thoughts in mind and went to school.

After school, while Winy was returning home, Wimpy ventured into an old and unused shed. Winy went inside the shed, calling “wimpy, come here”. He saw some metal parts lying about in the shed. He went inside and found there were many parts among the debris piled up. As Winy started finding the parts, Wimpy cleared all the debris and found a gunny bag. Winy collected as many parts and metal nuts he could find and both of them carried the bag home.

On reaching home, Winy started fixing the parts along with the steel sheets he had in his garage. He arranged the sheets as per the image of the rocket in his mind. Wimpy too joined in, bringing the screws and nuts in his paws and teeth, and helping Winy fix his self-built rocket with the tires he had stored in his shed some time back.
