Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI is a non-fiction book by American journalist David Grann, in which he tells the story of a series of murders of Native Americans from the Osage tribe. The events of the book take place during the 1920s when the Osage tribe was one of the richest in the world because of oil deposits found on their land to which they had been forcibly relocated a half-century before. When one by one, members of their tribe are shot dead, the newly formed FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) investigates the murders.
