To My Father
When delivered by their mothers, infants become children of the Earth; but every infant was a child of the sky before.
Children of the Sky live in the clouds, amidst the sunbeams and the wind. At night, they sleep under the moon and the feeble light of the stars. When the moon has the shape of a C, they play with it as it was a slide. Some other times they play with the moon during the day, when it is completely white and seems to be transparent like a wedding veil.
They enjoy themselves by hiding behind those veils until they are too tired. Then, they go to rest in the clouds of the sky, while the wind lulls them to make them sleep.
They play, have fun and go to school. Just like the children on the Earth. The children of the Sky have their own names, or they couldn’t call each other. But they choose their name by themselves. They say, “I am Mark” or, “I am Jennifer”.
Sometimes, Teachers suggest them other names. The children of the Sky pay attention to their Teachers and are happy to receive their help.
Teachers teach the children of the Sky many important things that will support them when they fall on the Earth. They do not always remember everything; but, in the most important situations, some lessons will come to their minds, disguised as ideas, dreams or inspirations.
