That may make you feel that the P1 and LaFerrari have the edge in performance, think again! Each ingredient is seemingly specifically selected to cure hot weather-induced pangs of thirst — it is in turns sweet, acidic, minty, and sparkling. 

The Mojito's fame was solidified by the 1930’s when Ernest Hemingway helped to popularize the drink. Its popularity soar again in the early 2000s. It may not be the trendiest drink anymore, but when prepared well it's delicious and refreshing. Definitely the greatest choice in a hot summer.

- Let’s make a Mojito:

Mojito Ingredients:

2 oz (60 ml) White Rum

1 oz Lime

3/4 oz Simple Syrup / 1 tsp sugar

10 Mint leaves, and mint sprig for garnish

Soda water, to taste

Directions:

STEP 1

Muddle the lime juice, sugar and mint leaves in a small jug, gently crushing the mint as you go – you can use the end of a rolling pin for this. Pour into a tall glass and add a handful of ice.

STEP 2

Pour over the rum, stirring with a long-handled spoon. Top up with soda water, garnish with mint and serve.
