If you want your life to change, it starts by reading the word and believing it. James 1:22-26 states, "But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror."

This book is dedicated to my family. My mother, Orden Williams, whose love was unconditional and all started when she prayed for me. And my Grandma Earlean Higdon, who filled me with wisdom, love, and understanding of the ways of God. My children, Terry, Anthony, and Denequa, I dedicate this book to you for allowing me to be your mom and make changes. I could think of no greater family than mine to have been honored by God.
I thank God for inspiration that transforms lives into greater purpose. I would like to acknowledge Bishop Glover, Lady Beulah Glover, and Pastor Ballard for living and teaching from pure lives which ignited fire into me. My God forever favors Mount Bethel Ministries and Ms. Jo Branch for teachings from our Sunday School Class.
Have you ever come to a place in your life that change must take place, and you had no clue how that would happen? Well, I discovered that with some pain, rejection, losses, others' opinions, and letting go of things, life tries to hit you with. That's when I became determined to give myself a try after having tried everything else. Never be afraid to give yourself a chance. You're worth it. So, let's dive in, believe the word over and over again, and have never-ending love for yourself. Now accepting change makes becoming sweeter daily.
For I am conscious of my transgressions, and I acknowledge them; My sin is always before me. Psalm 51:3 AMP
In all your ways, know and acknowledge and recognize Him,
And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]. Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord [with reverent awe and obedience] and turn [entirely] away from evil. Proverbs 3:6-7 AMP
Only understand fully and acknowledge your wickedness and guilt,
That you have rebelled (transgressed) against the Lord your God
And have scattered your favors among strangers under every green tree,
And you have not obeyed My voice,’ says the Lord. Jeremiah 3:13 AMP
We know and acknowledge, O Lord,
Our wickedness and the iniquity of our fathers; for we have sinned against You. Jeremiah 14:20 AMP
I acknowledged my sin to You,
And I did not hide my wickedness;
I said, “I will confess [all] my transgressions to the Lord”;
And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah. Psalm 32:5 AMP
Then I said,
“Woe is me! For I am ruined,
Because I am a man of [ceremonially] unclean lips,
And I live among a people of unclean lips;
For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.” Isaiah 6:5 AMP
LET’S PRAY
Dear Lord,
I realize now that I sin against You, and You only have; I sin and now turn boldly to Your throne for complete Help.
Amen
Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. James 5:16 AMP
So it shall be when a person is guilty in one of these that he shall confess the sin he has committed. Leviticus 5:5 AMP
Because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God] and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 AMP
Therefore, since we have these [great and wonderful] promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, completing holiness [living a consecrated life—a life set apart for God’s purpose] in the fear of God. 2 Corinthians 7:1 AMP
LET’S PRAY
I Confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that you are Lord and have been my help!
Amen
The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 AMP
So repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God—seek His purpose for your life], so that your sins may be wiped away [blotted out, completely erased], so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day]; Acts 3:19 AMP
“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless you repent [that is, change your inner self—your old way of thinking, live changed lives] and become like children [trusting, humble, and forgiving], you will
never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3 AMP
“So, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, but I openly proclaimed first to those at Damascus, then at Jerusalem and throughout the region of Judea, and even to the Gentiles, that they should repent [change their inner self—their old way of thinking] and turn to God, doing deeds and living lives which are consistent with repentance.” Acts 26:19-20 AMP
For the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, has said this,
“In returning [to Me] and rest you shall be saved,
In quietness and confidence, trust is your strength.”
But you were not willing, Isaiah 30:15 AMP
“If you will turn and pay attention to my rebuke,
Behold, I [Wisdom] will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you.” Proverbs 1:23 AMP
After I turned away [from You], I repented;
After I was instructed, I struck my thigh [in remorse];
I was ashamed and even humiliated.
Because I carried the disgrace of my youth [as a nation].’ Jeremiah 31:19 AMP
LET’S PRAY
Dear Lord,
I repent and turn from my wicked ways through your spirit that changes me into the image of your Dear Son.
Amen
Whoever denies and repudiates the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses and acknowledges the Son has the Father also. As for you, let that remain in you [keeping in your hearts that message of salvation] which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you too will remain in the Son and in the Father [forever].1John 2:23-24 AMP
“The Lord is my portion and my inheritance,” says my soul;
“Therefore, I have hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him.” Lamentations 3:24 AMP
And that every tongue will confess and openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord (sovereign God), to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:11 AMP
For it is written [in Scripture],
“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall give praise to God.” Romans 14:11AMP
Who is [He then] this King of glory?
The Lord of Hosts,
He is the King of glory [who rules over all creation with His heavenly armies]. Selah. Psalm 24:10 AMP
LET’S PRAY
Dear Lord,
I Acknowledge what you have done for me and how you saved my life for the better help me to always recognize your Covering.
Amen
“I say to you, whoever declares openly and confesses Me before men [speaking freely of Me as his Lord], the Son of Man also will declare openly and confess him [as one of His own] before the angels of God.” Luke 12:8 AMP
By this you know and recognize the Spirit of God: every spirit that acknowledges and confesses [the fact] that Jesus Christ has [actually] come in the flesh [as a man] is from God [God is its source]; 1 John 4:2 AMP
Whoever confesses and acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he is in God. We have come to know [by personal observation and experience] and have believed [with deep, consistent faith] the love that God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides continually in him. 1 John 4:15-16 AMP
