This is the beginning of Bo Bunny's adventures. It starts with his first Christmas and you'll accompany him in stories 1, 2 & 3 (out of seven in total). No 1: Once there was a little bunny. His name was Bo. He lost his mama's trace and grew up on his own. He remembered her last words: "Bo, you have a special duty. In the wintertime, when the snow is falling and the people start some festive activities, it will..." At this point she jumped away. The big hunting dog chased her and she never returned. So he had no idea what his mama meant. Bo Bunny awoke on Christmas Day and started his big job. Well, actually he started what he thought being his special duty... In story 2 Bo is preparing for his first Easter: When I remember my 'First Easter' I am still amused even after all these years. At this time I was still in the infancy of my bunny career. My Christmas mischief wasn’t forgotten. At springtime I wanted to start my Easter preparations. I had learned that this would be the big Easter Bunny event. There were only some more days left until Easter Sunday and ! couldn’t feel a single egg swelling up my belly... Oh my bunny, it's still funny! Please join in to learn about when I was making a laughingstock of myself. In story 3 you'll find out about some secrets and what happened on his second Christmas: Bo has grown up to be a fine young rabbit, and loves his job as the Easter Bunny. He is so good at it that his Easter eggs are now very famous and he’s well loved by all the children. On a sunny, warm day in spring he went strolling along the meadows still on his search for other bunnies; he was longing to get in touch with others like himself, to play with and grow up together, and as he went along he stopped ...

Bärbel Thetmeyer is writing stories about teddy bears, bunnies, rabbits and more. She started writing back in the 1990ies. These first stories were meant to be special Christmas presents for the family’s kids.
By the time the stories were published as print editions at BoD. Since the new media e-books appeared on the market, her books are also available on Kindle as e-books and on iTunes.
In 2012 she made the acquaintance of a wonderful English lady who became the editor for the first translation. She started what she calls “my big translation adventure” and in December 2012 her first ever-English book was published at BoD. "Little Beaver's Secrets".
Her aim is to enrich the fantasy of her readers of all ages and to give them a little escape from the cruelty of today’s world! Come on and join in!
Last year she started to translate the bunny stories of her first book. The first out of seven “Bo Bunny Stories” was an e-book publishing at Bod in January 2015: “Bo’s First Christmas” followed in March 2015 by “Bo’s First Easter”.
This book is dedicated to all my wonderful friends1 as a way of saying thanks to them for their help and support.

Bo jumped out of bed; his special day had finally arrived!
He had been born in the spring, and his bunny mum looked after him very well. She used to tell him lots of lovely stories as they nibbled at the sweet, fresh grass.
One day, Mumma Bunny started telling him something very interesting and important.
“Come and sit here Bo,” she said. “I want to tell you how very special you are, because it’s your destiny to bring nice presents and a whole lot of joy to the humans.” He snuggled in and listened carefully. “The humans have two important celebrations each year,” she continued. “One of them is a grand celebration at the years end… it’s quite wonderful, there’s often snow covering the land and they decorate trees with lights. But this will not be your…” she did not finish what she was going to say because a big hunting dog jumped right into their hideaway and took Mumma Bunny away.
Bo was very frightened and squeezed as far into a corner as possible. He waited and waited for his Mumma to return, but she didn’t come back.
He was very sad and his summertime was lonely without his Mumma, but he survived well because he had a strong will and remembered the lessons she had taught him.
He never got a chance to talk to his fellow bunnies, because Hasso, the hunting dog that took his Mumma, ruled with a rod of iron and always tried to catch the bunnies. But Bo was very clever and the quickest runner ever, and by the beginning of December, he’d grown up into a strong, handsome young bunny boy.
