Who is Eryezel?
Eryezel is a powerful ancient demon. He is known in ancient Mesopotamian religion as the southwestern wind, equal in power to the demon Pazuzu. He rules over two elements: fire and earth. Not only that, he also rules over a legion of demons. Therefore, once you gain control of Eryezel, you also exercise power over his demons. It is as if you have an army of demonic forces on your side and always at your service.
Having mastered the elements of fire and earth, Eryezel is the demon who can help when you want the manifestation of your will, for such desire necessarily requires the combination of the fine qualities of fire and earth. This is well in accordance with the universal laws of nature.
Eryezel is so powerful that he was worshiped as a god in ancient times. Even today, it is believed that some dark magicians and witches still worship Eryezel as a god—while others treat him as if he was one of the servient spirits.
This codex is not about worshiping Eryezel; but rather, it teaches a way to conjure him and turn this ancient evil god into a servient spirit with a task to do your will and make it manifest on all levels of existence, visible and invisible.
Although considered a male spirit, Eryezel is known to appear in various forms, even in the form of a female being. After all, Eryezel is a spirit form; and as such, he could have any appearance that he likes to take. This is a natural ability that all true demons can do. Remember: It is only the essence of the energy that does not change.
Eryezel was the heraldic demon of the seventh sphere of Hell. He used to work under the leadership of Lucifer. In some occult literature, it is said that he was one of the best fallen angels of Lucifer. As such, it is a certainty that Eryezel holds great power and is highly skillful in the manipulation of dark forces.
Legend has a story of the fall (or rise) of this mighty demon. It says that Eryezel once fell in love with a woman of Earth. This was forbidden among the high demons of Lucifer. To prevent him from committing a bigger mistake, he was attacked by a hound of demons while he was asleep. This threw him out the seventh sphere of Hell where he used to rule and away from the earthly woman whom he loved.
