Alice Platt stretched her feet as she relaxed on the sofa. Picking up the glass of juice on the table she took a sip from it as she watched the news report on CNN.
Although her eyes were fixated on the screen her mind drifted far from what was going on in the screen. It took a noise from the corner of the building to awaken her consciousness.
Very much alerted, she immediately rose to her feet and started to move towards where she believed the sound had sprung from.

Her husband Tomas Montgomery Ortiz, who was 2 years older than her. They have known each other since they were both in high school with Thomas Montgomery being a few classes ahead of her.
Alice's best friend is a scientific researcher called Abbey Holmes. They have a very fiery friendship. She also hangs around with Kai Rose and Ronald Gray. They enjoy extreme ironing together.
