Walking into the living room Simon spotted Maureen who was seated at the dining table with her eyes fixated on his laptop. Simon had lended his laptop to Maureen due to the fact that hers developed some fault and was away for repairs.
Realizing Simon was just a few distance away, Maureen shifted her focus from the screen and took a sip from the glass of orange juice which was just beside the laptop.
She pointed to the seat right next to her as she sipped the last content from her glass. Simon stared curiously at Maureen who wore a straight face as she gazed at him.
Although Maureen wore a straight face her beauty was very much visible as she happened to have a baby face which was one of the things that endeared Simon Gary to her during their high school days.
What is the matter Maureen? Simon Gary asked as soon as Maureen placed the glass on the table. Maureen didn't utter a word but turned the screen of the laptop towards Simon.
Very much confused, Simon Gary tried to pay attention to what was on the screen. What is that? Maureen popped the question while Simon was still trying to figure out what exactly was going on.
