Such a strange title for a book about healing, I know. But it is indeed a book on health and healing. I needed to ask you this question: Does God has the flu? before you start reading this book. You see, I encounter so many people who are sick, seeking healing and health. Yet they are blaming God for the sickness, blaming Him for not protecting them from the sickness, disease, or blaming even themselves for being sick. Then there are many Christians even who still think that God is teaching them a lesson by making or keeping them sick and in pain. Thinking it is God's plan for them, that not everyone can get healed. Others think it is their fate in life. Maybe even their cross God wants them to bear, while many people receive healing and being healthy. Now, does God have the flu? I could also have asked does God has cancer? Or is God barren?, does God have scoliosis, or Ms? Does God have chronic pain? Is God in a wheelchair or walking with a walker since He has been around for ages? If I asked you these questions, then you would think that I was just silly because the answer to all these questions is no, of course.
This is the reason I wrote this book to show people that the Word of God is truth and He can not lie; also that He never wanted us sick because we are made in His image and likeness, and He is not sick. To address the misunderstanding some people have of God.
Genesis 1: 26 NKJV
"Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
Or: Was the son of God born with any deficiency? The answers to these questions we find in the Word of God. We can see that the big answer to all the above questions I asked you is always a very huge no! NO, God does not have the flu! Jesus, the Son of God, was not born prematurely or with any deficiency! He cannot have the flu, and for that matter, He cannot have any kind of sickness or disease. It is impossible for Him to have cancer or scoliosis. The fact is that He never invented it. Or better said; He never spoke sickness into being. Yes, you have read it right. He, God who made heaven and earth never ever {never ever will} spoke the flu, cancer, scoliosis, pain or whatever the sickness, whatever kind of illness, disease there is or is to come. Whatever you or others might have, whatsoever the name is into existence, He didn't and will never ever do for the simple reason that throughout the whole Bible, everything came into existence through the spoken word by faith. We can find this in Genesis chapter one. He spoke with words by faith with the power in His tongue: light, day, grass, trees, animals, stars, the sun, and people into being. It took God a few prophets who dared to speak what God asked them to say to get Jesus to be born. Like the prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 7: 14 NKJV
"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel."
Isaiah 9:6-7 NKJV
"For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,”
This took Isaiah some courage to speak out. All because it was an impossibility, he might have looked like a fool. How many of us would be bold enough to speak the words Isaiah spoke? Others might laugh at you and think you are crazy, but Isaiah spoke it, and it has happened. The words God gave Isaiah to speak came to pass even though Isaiah the prophet never saw it physically; his words made Jesus to be born. You can find this written in Luke 1:26 -38 NKJV.
"Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Mary. And having come in, the angel said to her, "Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!" But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end."
Then Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, since I do not know a man?"
And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible."
Then Mary said, "Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her."
Here we can read all about how it happened. Years after the prophet Isaiah spoke those words, God gave him to speak.
Know this and keep it in your heart, please. God has and will never speak something into existence that will harm or ruin you. All He wants is for you to be living in health, peace, all kinds of good things. That is the reason He sends His only begotten son into this world. God has, according to Jeremiah, another prophet who spoke words of God in the midst of adversity.
Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."
Jeremiah 29:11 KJ21
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
He did just that by sending His own son. So you can read with your own eyes that He only speaks and wants good things in your life. I want to highlight a few of the words in this particular scripture and are the words thoughtand peace. The meaning is as follows, according to Strong´s Expanded Exhaustive Concordance dictionary.
Thought:
Thought, plan, purpose, intention, imagination, device
Peace:
Shalom, Completeness[in number], soundness[ in body], welfare, safety, good health, prosperity, tranquillity, contentment, peace from war, peace in human relationships.
These are the types of thoughts God has for our thoughts to prosper you in every area of life.
This is not the only part of the Word of God where we can find Him wanting good things for us. In the following scripture
James 1:17 KJ21
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."
Psalms 35:27
"He delights in the PROSPERITY of his servants."
These scriptures are the reason why you and I can say:
"God is a good God"
When we know now that God is a good God and that it is not Him who invented or spoke the flu and all the other sickness, disease, ailments, illnesses into existence. Then who did?
Think about the following; God consists, is made up of health, peace, love, joy, strength, faith, everything that is good; how can God give you or wants you sick? He is the source of health and can not but give health, radiate health, have healthy fruit, releases health power.
To answer some more questions about the birth of the Son of God, we first read what happened at the time of His birth.
Luke 2: 1-7 CEV
"About that time Emperor Augustus gave orders for the names of all the people to be listed in record books. These first records were made when Quirinius was governor of Syria.
Everyone had to go to their own hometown to be listed. So Joseph had to leave Nazareth in Galilee and go to Bethlehem in Judea. Long ago Bethlehem had been King David's hometown, and Joseph went there because he was from David's family.
Mary was engaged to Joseph and traveled with him to Bethlehem. She was soon going to have a baby, and while they were there, she gave birth to her first-born son. She dressed him in baby clothes and laid him on a bed of hay, because there was no room for them in the inn."
We find out from this story that He wasn't born prematurely or with a deficiency. Even though they had to travel to the city of Bethlehem or the fact that there was no room in the inn for them. No room in the 'hotels' of that day for them. How stressy {made this word up} do you think it was for Mary? This was her first child. She was about to give birth, and there was no place for her to do so in rest. I cannot find one verse telling me she was stressed out. When we see reality shows on television where people are pregnant, we get a look at people's lives. And they are stressed out to the max. Even though they have everything, a baby needs, a hospital or hotel to go to and give birth. Money in the bank, a house to return to with their newborn. And because of the stress, the body sends out toxic information. This is harming the mother and child. Now how do I know that baby Jesus, when He was born, had no deficiency or wasn't a premature baby? Well, let the Bible interpret the Word of God. What did the Bible tell us about the birth of Jesus? It told us in the book of Luke; we read the story, we found out how the delivery went.
Can you find one word written in the book of Luke chapter two that Mary had a terrible pregnancy? Or that she was having difficulty giving birth? Or can you find one word about Jesus needing help as a newborn baby to breathe? Or that He came a few weeks too soon, or that He had a deficiency? No, no, no, no, there is absolutely not one word about it. Is this because He is the Son of God and Mary the mom of the Son of God?
No, no, no, no, He was born in the flesh. He, Jesus, was born manfully. Also, He was born to give an example of how pregnancy and delivery should be. So we can stand upon this word in our own pregnancies and delivery. Nowadays, you can find pictures, videos, films, magazines, books, etc., that show you how terrible a pregnancy can be. How awful birth-giving can be—reality shows of hospitals showing how babies are born with deficiencies, babies who are born prematurely. You can see and hear how they died even. Every graphic detail about this subject bringing you a different kind of report than the Word of God tells us. That is why the Lord asks us in the book of Isaiah 53:1 NKJV.
"Who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?"
Whose report do you believe?
Who has believed our report? What report was the prophet referring to? The Word of God, what God says about the situation, not what our neighbors, the television shows, teachers, family and friends, experiences, doctors reports are telling us. In the Bible, it tells us the story of the twelve spies in Numbers 13:1-33 NKJV.
"And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, "Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel; from each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, everyone a leader among them."
So Moses sent them from the Wilderness of Paran according to the command of the Lord, all of them men who were heads of the children of Israel. Now these were their names: from the tribe of Reuben, Shammua the son of Zaccur; from the tribe of Simeon, Shaphat the son of Hori; from the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh; from the tribe of Issachar, Igal the son of Joseph; from the tribe of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Nun; from the tribe of Benjamin, Palti the son of Raphu; from the tribe of Zebulun, Gaddiel the son of Sodi;from the tribe of Joseph, that is, from the tribe of Manasseh, Gaddi the son of Susi; from the tribe of Dan, Ammiel the son of Gemalli; from the tribe of Asher, Sethur the son of Michael; from the tribe of Naphtali, Nahbi the son of Vophsi; from the tribe of Gad, Geuel the son of Machi.
These are the names of the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Hoshea the son of Nun, Joshua.
Then Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said to them, "Go up this way into the South, and go up to the mountains, and see what the land is like: whether the people who dwell in it are strong or weak, few or many; whether the land they dwell in is good or bad; whether the cities they inhabit are like camps or strongholds;whether the land is rich or poor; and whether there are forests there or not. Be of good courage. And bring some of the fruit of the land." Now the time was the season of the first ripe grapes.
So they went up and spied out the land from the Wilderness of Zin as far as Rehob, near the entrance of Hamath. And they went up through the South and came to Hebron; Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the descendants of Anak, were there. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.) Then they came to the Valley of Eshcol, and there cut down a branch with one cluster of grapes; they carried it between two of them on a pole. They also brought some of the pomegranates and figs. The place was called the Valley of Eshcol, because of the cluster which the men of Israel cut down there. And they returned from spying out the land after forty days.
