Lawyers – Unsurprisingly, a good chunk of the users of dark psychology are lawyers. Some attorneys rely mostly, sometimes even entirely, on dark psychology tactics to win their cases. They would even use persuasion to get the kind of answers that they need.
Public Speakers – Even your favorite public speaker might be using dark psychology techniques. They would sometimes use dark psychological methods to get whatever kind of reaction they want from their audiences. They would use dark tactics to get a rise from the audiences so it will be easier to sell anything to the attendees.
Politicians – It is yet again unsurprising to learn that politicians are also experts at using dark psychology. Just like public speakers, politicians would use dark tactics to persuade and manipulate people into believing that they are the only ones who are worthy of their trust and votes while the others are not.
Salespeople – Of course, salespeople rely on making sales to earn money, so it is only natural for them to use dark psychology to convince people that they need whatever it is that they’re selling.
These are just some of the professions that somewhat require those in their respective fields to actively, or at least sometimes, use dark psychology methods. Arguably, most of those who use dark psychology to analyze people as their profession are not inherently evil. Some of them are even unaware that they are already utilizing it.
How To Keep Yourself Ethical When Using Dark Psychology?
Whenever you are using dark psychology to analyze people, your main goal should be to get a mutually beneficial outcome.
