Preface

When the glory of God is revealed to you, you will begin to seek for His hidden plan. This is the beginning of my walk with the Lord. It all started in 2002 in the city of Idah, Kogi State, Nigeria West Africa. The Holy Spirit through God’s Word began to awaken my heart to questions I could not understand. Every minister of the Gospel I turned to for help could not help me. Many of them saw those questions as unnecessary. I tried to shift them away but they keep coming up every time. This became the beginning of my walk with the Holy Spirit.

It was at this point I forgave as many ministers that turned me down in answering my questions. I did this because it became clear to me that nothing was wrong with them and they do not hate me. I learnt by the Holy Spirit that these were questions that were patterned by God to lead me into my walk with Him.

My personal bible study with the Holy Spirit as my guild started because I was buried in questions older than me. Questions that make me lose my peace, night rest and even food at times. The journey began as I found myself lost and buried in my Bible from 10pm till 5am. Seeking and writing wisdoms I could not explain but I know they come to me. The Holy Spirit began to dictate words to me and I wrote as much as I can.

At some point I became angry with the Holy Spirit asking Him, who will even value and pay attention to all these I am writing now? Little did I know He was preparing me ahead of time for the sake of the body of Christ across the world. The beginning of this journey was not making sense. I began saying some statements that was misunderstood. Some people said I was too young for my interest and curiosity. I wanted to obey and respect these people because some of them are my mentors and pastor. But after leaving their presence, there was a voice (Holy Spirit) within my heart and spirit reminding me constantly about this thing.

Thank God for the rejection and those that avoided me thinking I was out of my sense. God used their attitude (thou not pleasant) to preserve me to birth this book you are about to read. Every day that I breathe, I keep seeing and feeling the frustration of believers in Christ who are honestly, and sincerely doing the wrong things. I keep seeing people praying about issues that are not problems but the making process of their journey in their Divine Purpose. Daily I see people settle for less in relationship and marriage that fight against their Divine purpose yet trying to use prayer to fix it. I can’t write all the kind of people I see their pain that stir up this decision to write this book. I have made an attempt more than three times to write this book but the Lord stopped me. The first attempt was in 2008. The second attempt was in 2010. The third attempt was in 2018. The fourth attempt was in 2020.

This book you are about to start reading is the result of my journey with the Holy Spirit the Grace of our Lord Jesus. I feel your pain and I see your struggle. And I am here to teach and guild you through the scriptures to help you as the Lord have helped me. Either you have discovered your Divine purpose or not, this book is a guild to help you discover, learn, prepare and practice your Divine Purpose.

With Jesus Joy, I present the extension of the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ in my life to you; HOW TO PRACTICE YOUR DIVINE PURPOSE (Volume One). After reading through this, be expectant of the Volume Two of HOW TO PRACTICE YOUR DIVINE PURPOSE. Everything about your walk in Faith is centered on this truth you are about to read.

This book is an expository on God's dealings with the author through life with the intent to reveal, guide, nurture and instruct.

With a quest towards purpose discovery and the full expression of God's mandate on anyone's life, this book is a must.

In Working or Walking according to God's Will through life, Spirit-centric existence in the knowledge of the truth ought to be the emphasis; hence, the love that propelled the need for this book to be written by the author.

Each chapter in this volume one is an encapsulation of the sensitive facets of purpose driven existence.

The viability and validity of existence as God's own creature under the new covenant of His Word, His Glory and His Power can only be achieved through purpose discovery and purposeful living.

My earnest desire is that, as you flip through each page of this book; may it minister to your spirit, mind and senses because, understanding divine purpose is the first step toward true existence in the very nature of God.

Chapter One.

PURPOSE

Purpose is the reason for the existence of a thing. It is the “because” factor behind the creation of a thing. It is the original idea in the mind of a creator over his creature.

Divine purpose is the inspiration behind every passion and zeal or what some people call dreams (according to Gods plan). This is the detail within your reason for existence, how you should exist, and the value you should bring to earth through your existence. In the time past, we have stopped at the pace of seeing purpose as the reason for the existence of a thing but there is much more to it.

The purpose of a thing is what reveal the functionality of the thing, the safety of the thing, what threaten a thing, how to maintain it, and how to use it.

All the words I used above are to reveal a deeper dimension of Divine purpose as the revealer of your functionality. It does not just reveal the value and reason of your existence alone, it reveals how you are suppose to function to achieve the result that aligns with your reason for existence.

Your divine purpose for existence is to represent God in what God has entrusted into your care. It then implies that your existence is a sign that something has being entrusted into your care. It’s a reality you must be fully responsible for in its functionality, according to that which fits your reason for existence.

Your divine purpose is specific in nature and manifest through your passion, curiosity, and interest in life. Your divine purpose is a system that is wired within your spirit. It is not something God has to input into you afresh. It’s already in you waiting to be discovered and deployed by you.

The number one pointer to your Divine purpose here on earth is attached to the major reason why you gave your life to Jesus. You will only see Jesus in the light of what God has already inputted into your spirit as your purpose. This is the major reason why Jesus said to Peter, follow me and I will make you fishers of men. He understood Peter will understand that statement because as a fisher man he understood fishing.

You will have an issue if the way you gave your life to Jesus was not in the proper way. The negative way of giving your life to Jesus is because of what you want from him. The right way of giving your life to Jesus should be on your personal Encounter with Him, for who He is, and for the understanding of the love of the Father. I need to repeat this; the nature of Jesus or His personality that convinced you to give your life to him, is a point of the possibility that resides in you.
