Jimmy, the little bunny, was sitting beside the river.
كان الأرنب الصغير جيمي جالسا قرب النّهر.
It was an autumn afternoon and everything around him was dressed in orange, his favorite color.
في أحد ظهيرة فصل الخريف، كان كلّ شيء محيطا بجيمي برتقاليّ اللون، فالبرتقاليّ هو لونه المفضّل.
He loved orange carrots, the orange sunsets and the beautiful orange leaves.
لقد كان جيمي يحب الجزر البرتقاليّ وغروب الشمس البرتقاليّ وأوراق الشجر البرتقالية أيضا.
“Come, Jimmy,” called his oldest brother, “let’s throw leaves into the river and see whose leaf will move faster!”
قال أخوه الأكبر مناديا:" تعال يا جيمي. فَلْنُلْقِ بأوراق الخريف في النهر ونرى من تتحرك ورقته أسرع!"
“What leaf do you choose?” asked his middle brother.
سأل الأخ الأوسط:" أيّة ورقة ستختاران؟"
“I’ll take this big orange one,” said Jimmy, picking up the leaf from the ground.
قال جيمي ملتقطا ورقة خريف من الأرض:" سآخذ هذه الورقة الكبيرة."
“Mine will be red,” added his oldest brother and took a bright red leaf.
قال الأخ الكبير وهو يلتقط ورقة خريف حمراء فاقعة:" سأختار هذه الورقة الحمراء."
