I wrote Old Fools four years ago and spent two years unsuccessfully trying to get it produced. Eventually, I had to admit defeat and condemn the play to the back of a drawer, never to be seen again.

Then two weeks later, Sharon asked if she could produce and direct it. Which goes to show that (a) you never know what the future will hold and (b) nothing is ever wasted.
