AUTHOR'S NOTE
The use of many scriptures, mainly modern translations of the original text is deliberate. It seeks to give the reader a maximum understanding of the Bible verses used and the contents of this book.
INTRODUCTION
Have you ever wondered? why am I on earth? is life all about eating, drinking, taking care of the cares of life and one day die? is there life after death?
Only an unwise person will believe that life has no purpose and that the world suddenly just came into being. The sky, the seas, trees, flowers, fishes, birds, human beings, and all kinds of animals are evidence that life and all in the world are the product of careful planning and purpose by an Almighty Creator or God.
That we doubt the truth does not change the truth. The truth about the existence of the creator of all things comes directly from Him. All else can only be a witness that he exist. Many men and women, past and present have shared their encounter with the Almighty God. Ask Him!
As you read this book, my prayer is that by the grace of God the eyes of your understanding will be enlightened to know Him and His divine plan and purpose for you and for all men, in this life and for all eternity.
CHAPTER ONE
What is eternity?
Eternity is endless life after death. Are you aware that once a man is born he will never cease to live? Do you know that you will outlive the moon and the stars?. The Lord God made man from the dust of the earth and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living being. Genesis 2:7. A living being with body, soul and spirit 1Thessalonians 5:23. Even after the body dies the soul and spirit live on.
The living being never dies. It continues to live on after physical death. It has feelings and emotions and experiences joy, sadness, pains, sorrow and regret [Luke 16:19-31], in its continuous existence after death. Our choice on Earth determines how we will spend eternity. Whether in joy and happiness forever in Heaven, or in sorrow, pains and regret in Hell with the Devil. The Almighty God wants us to spend eternity in joy and happiness with Him in Heaven. He says "outside the city are the perverts and those who practice magic, the immoral who worship idols and those who are liars in words and deeds''. Revelation 22:15.[GNB]
TESTIMONIES OF PEOPLE WHO HAD REVELATIONS OF HEAVEN AND HELL.
I have heard and read stories of people who had revelations of Heaven and Hell. My sister Oide Obaseki told about her revelation of Heaven. The part of Heaven she saw had four mighty golden pillars sparkling beyond description in its beauty, she also saw magnificent structures that looked like blocks of apartments.
