At the age of 18, Marc Levy joined the Red Cross as a first-aid worker while studying management and IT in Paris. He went on to create his own import company in France, before moving to the USA and founding two CGI companies. Six years later, he resigned and set up an architecture firm in Paris, which went on to become one of the most successful in France.
After the meteoric success of his first novel If Only It Were True (2000), which spent 70 weeks on the bestseller lists, Levy began writing full-time. Since then, he has written several other novels, all of which became bestsellers in France and achieved international popularity.
