From then on, convinced of his vocation, he did a beautiful pastoral work. He always believed in Christian principles, a true way to the salvation of the soul. Therefore, he is the protector of all who require his intercession.

I passed with the grace of God. Here in the northeast, life is very difficult. We face drought, criminals, outlaws, and lack of government investment among other things. But that never discouraged me. I am a strong and brave man. I believe northeast Brazil still has a good future. Regarding your reflection, I agree with you. We are equal before God and this is how I will treat my wife when I get married.

It was a weird thing. Seeing all those people dying made me afraid and distressed.

Captain

Normal. This is just the beginning. This battle must last for a long time. Let's hope we're alive to tell the story.

Anthony

I have confidence in survival. I am young and have many dreams to fulfill. I want to have my children and rediscover my wife.

Captain

The Battle of Riachuelo It was a strategic battle. At stake was the control of the silver basin that was the main mode of transportation of the time. The country that controlled the rivers would have great advantage over its opponent. The victory was Brazilian. Paraguayan forces have begun the siege of Uruguaiana but without operating options.

General Brazilian

Our opponents have no chance of winning. How about giving them a chance to surrender and prevent bloodshed?

Anthony

Good idea, General. We have to have humanity at these times.
