The Beginning

Over 3,000 years ago, when the earth was pure and the land was beautifull a small tribe of humans lived peacefully together in a place called Pledia, which meant "land of pleanty". It was lush with vegitation, bountiful in food & humans and animals lived in peaceful co-existence. History has many names for this place, Utopia, Shangri La and even the famous Garden of Eden. This small band of people where looked over by the goddess Shivinna which meant "Blessed Provider". She was a diety of love, understanding & forgiveness. At night the people would create a bon fire and burn a plant that would induce a trance-like state that would connect them on a spiritual level with Shivinna. They would dance, feast & sing in harmony in their worship of their beloved goddess Shivinna.

Since everyone lived in harmony there was no formal "families" as we know them today. The women were called Birth Givers and when a child was born everyone had a hand in raising the child, not just the birth mother. Sex was free and open & their wasn't any labels like "straight, gay, bi, lesibian,...". Men slept with women, men slept with men, women with women and there wasn't any jealousy or conflict between lovers. One was free to say yes or no and no one took offense. Love and sex was shared by all in harmonious unity for the good of the tribe. Everything was blissfull in the land of Pledia and the goddess Shivinna loved her children & the people love and worshiped her. The only law was that at the edge of Pledia a tall brush of bushes, trees & other vegetation surrounded the land and it was forbidden to go beyond it. To do so would bring hardship, pain & death so declared Shivinna.
