About the author

Introduction to the Manifestation Code

The word "code" refers to a set of laws and principles. It is a unitary, ordered and systematized set of rules. It is an original term from the Latin word "codex" and it means ‘book of laws or principles’ that govern a subject. This book will reveal to you the "12 powers" to fulfil your desires, based on the laws of the mystics of the Antiquity.

This set of principles, as I have ordered and systematized them, makes up "The Manifestation Code" and serves as a spiritual technology to make the invisible visible.

Although the concepts on which I have based the "12 powers" may seem like a commonplace to you, or you think you already know them, I will provide you with a new meaning for those concepts, please let yourself be surprised.

What you are going to read next may seem familiar, but it has been forgotten. In the distant future, it will be a no-brainer. This is my vision of the future: in a few thousand years, the illiterates will be those people incapable of designing their life at their choice.

Spiritually enlightened people, the majority, will align their intention with their manifestations and only those who have fallen behind, the minority, in their spiritual development, will suffer an unelected destiny.

Why "12 Powers"? Jesus came into the world to lead mankind to another level and was assisted by twelve apostles. In my opinion, the content of this book also requires twelve columns in which it is supported.

The Apostles were disciples. And my definition of discipline is "to be a disciple of an idea". Here are 12 ideas to be disciplined. What’s next is the twelve qualities for the creation of new realities. I recommend you use the "12 powers" in your life (as a habit), and you will awaken a creative power previously unknown to you that will allow you to lead a life of abundant prosperity in all aspects.

I have written this book to show you that raising your life is both possible and, according to the universal laws I will explain, natural when you are in consistency with these unchanging laws. I believe we have been culturally conditioned to accept established norms, leading to a life of 'bearable failure' and 'silent despair'. And the saddest thing is to believe that dreams are, that success is for a few, and fear for everyone...

If life were like that, this universe would be dead. But everything indicates otherwise. You will agree that we have been conditioned to believe that pursuing our desires generates selfish behaviors. We have also been conditioned to adapt to the world at the expense of ignoring our inner universe.

But if everyone focused on spirituality, instead of giving it up, this would be a world of realized and happy people.

Writing about the non-manifest and its principles using the limited vocabulary of a Western language is bold because words are symbols that lead us away from the truth. The first time is because a mental concept is a misrepresentation of the truth and the second is, because choosing a word that represents that concept is limiting the truth.

Every time I have sat down to write a few pages of this book, I have invited the Spirit to inspire me as an instrument for his wisdom. I am not saying that this is a channeled book, but it is very inspired, and I do not feel that I own the content of this work. As you will appreciate, in some passages the inspiration is easier to notice, and in others less, according to my inner connection.

Some of the ideas I have written I had once thought about them, but others I thought about them for the first time when expressing them here. Therefore, it combines concepts I knew and others "I was unaware."

It always happens to me when I give the process of writing to the inner sage: a text emerges which is the combination of experience and inspiration.

This book is dedicated to Neville Goddard, American mystic, who devoted his life to sharing the principles of ancient mysticism and wisdom he called the Law of the Assumption. I will refer to him and his work in the next chapter, for the time being I would like to dedicate this book to him. It is my tribute to his work which has inspired a great change in my life. I owed him this book in gratitude.

What may be hindering your progress right now is not what you do not know, but what you know and doesn't work (or worse: what you know and what has never been true). As you will see in this book, I'm going to give a 180-degree turn to conventional beliefs that are a mortgage on the average person's mind.

I ask you to read it with total openness of your mind. Abandon some of the preconceived ideas you have about the world because what’s next will require all your receptivity.

I've aimed to convey timeless truths in simple language, though some concepts may require deeper reflection. Throughout the reading, you will read the words: Divinity, Presence, Spirit, Source... Open yourself to a new meaning of these concepts that to me have nothing religious, although they are very spiritual. As you know, religion is a subset of spirituality, which is broader.

You may have been struck by the word “manifestation" in the title of this book; although it may seem a confusing idea, it is much more accurate to me than "creation", because I have realized that we simply manifest intentions. Rather, we "manifest” intentions from the field of all possibilities; already created. And we "just" make them land in the world of the form. We all express intentions that want to reach the world of the form, and in a very real sense, all our achievements are co-creations because we never get anything on our own.

I will use two key concepts, which should be clear: reality and world, unchanging meaning.

• Reality is invisible, it is the spiritual realm, and it is the matrix of all that is visible in the world of things. It's the cause. It is the only reality.

• The world of things is the manifestation of the invisible dimension. It is the effect. It is a projection.

In other words, the visible world you perceive is less real than the invisible reality. A quantum physicist would call them deployed order and implicate order. World and reality.

1. Consciousness. It is the Divinity, the spirit and any other end word that you want to use. Known. It is the realm of the spirit. It has no levels.

2. Awareness. It is the mind, the means or tool by which consciousness is expressed. Perceive It is the domain of the ego, and it has levels.

Conscience is a mental state that induces action but does not inspire it, as inspiration comes from consciousness. Simplifying it, the Spirit uses the mind to express itself in the world. Later on throughout the reading, you will better understand that difference between consciousness and conscience.

This book will teach you that manifesting desires is very simple.

Because the world is a dream, one can dream what he wants, and what we desire will happen. But it will also teach you, and this is even more incredible, that there is a unique reality beyond the world you see. The reason of writing this book is to show you who you are because you don't know it yet. The end is ambitious, and the outcome promising, but the price you will pay is to question all your previous beliefs.

Follow the order of the book, and climb the ladder of conscience until you reach the formula of manifestation: the Miracle Process, three steps to travel from the non-manifested to the manifested. But don't go straight to that chapter; if you don't follow the book's order, what you learn there will make no sense.

I wrote this book because one day I longed for an ideal lifestyle. Now it's a brighter reality than I imagined and I want to put in your service what has helped me the most to achieve. I applied myself to the outer action and inner action. In other books I have told you about outer action, so now it is time to focus on inner action. This book will help you achieve your desires from the inner power, without any superior force in the world.

¿Shall we begin?

I think we already have, but in any case, turn the page.

Neville Goddard and the science of realizing your desires

Neville Goddard, though he was one of the most influential authors of the American movement "New Thinking,, is a forgotten genius of American metaphysics. After reading his work I find it difficult to believe that his name is unknown, not to the average person of any country, but even to the scholars of the sciences of success. This may be your case, but don't worry, after this reading, you'll have a deeper understanding of his teachings.

Neville wrote his work in the middle of the last century, his truths are timeless and perfectly applicable today; in fact, the world desperately needs them. Many times we go out in search of the latest idea, the new guru, the new fashion... and forget the value of ancient and perennial wisdom. What the human being has already discovered needs to be rediscovered over and over again in order not to fall back into the dream of ignorance.

In this sense, the secrets revealed in this book are lost secrets. Because they are accessible to anyone, they are forgotten by everyone. Who knows if their accessibility is why they are ignored. Or maybe it's its simplicity that seems to take away its value.

I discovered Neville Goddard through the works of Dr. Wayne Dyer, a well-known author in the field of personal development, who cites Goddard as a mentor and source of inspiration. I spent two years reading Neville Goddard, and letting his revealing ideas about the science of manifestation accompany me; and the most important, I applied these timeless principles in all aspects of my life. Step by step his influence started soaking up my personal life. And the changes came.

But don't get confused; I'm talking about a clarity about the way life operates that he achieved, as words like self-esteem, doubt, struggle, crisis, scarcity, effort, fear, uncertainty, and loneliness disappeared from my vocabulary. Now they're meaningless concepts to me. I believe Neville has turned what was growing prosperity into unlimited abundance, and my personal growth into spiritual completeness. I entered a state of remarkable clarity. And that state of grace spread to the world creating a good influence for everyone.

I studied his books and lectures, and I discovered a set of laws that I’m going to condense and reveal to you in these pages.

As I wanted to know his teachings, I read over and over his ten books, his complete works. Sometimes in Spanish, sometimes in English, the original language in which they were written. And every time I discovered a new revelation that had gone unnoticed in my previous readings. This is one of the hallmarks of the great authors: they always show you something new in every review of their material, and this is because their texts distill accurately the knowledge that you are willing to absorb in every reading, but no more.

And what I found changed my life forever. Keep reading to discover why this will change your life; you’ll see the same transformation. The "12 powers" of the "Manifestation Code" explain and illustrate the teachings of Neville Goddard (Neville from now on) in a simple and practical language. My goal is that in a few hours of reading you can share the vision of this forgotten genius of American metaphysics.

I investigated him as a person. This is what I found:

Neville (1905-1972) was born in Barbados, British Antilles, in 1905, in one of the most prominent families on the islands. In 1922, he traveled to the U.S. to study theatre when he was seventeen years old. But he soon desisted, coincidentally after he met a Kabbalah master.

In 1932, he devoted himself to his studies of mysticism, and he began his career as a lecturer in New York. He studied spiritual subjects throughout his life and was recognized as a mystic. As I said, he soon learned the Hebrew Kabbalah and mystical Christianity. He had a great ability to clarify the hidden meanings of the Bible in the metaphors it uses, bringing its content into the mystical field.

He was one of the most influential professors in the field of American "New Thought". This movement of 19th and 20th century mystics was defined by two basic principles. The first premise is that between the human being and the Divinity there are no intermediaries, because they are the same and an experience of direct connection with the source is required. And the second premise, the power of thought (imagination combined with emotion), manifests reality.

Neville's teachings predate the modern New Age movement, which later adopted and re-elaborated many of his principles. It was a precursor of what today is known as the Law of Attraction (explained in The Secret).

Although I believe it was a step further, his depth is much greater. He always stressed the importance of the power of imagination, which he equated to a divine quality. He also explained the metaphorical meaning of the Bible, which he considered a psychological drama. To him the ultimate goal of the human being is conscious union with the divine and awakening the consciousness of Christ in us.

He used the power of imagination to change the circumstances of his own life and recounted his personal experiences in his lectures. For example, in one of them, he explained how with the use of the power of imagination, he managed to secure an honorable discharge from military service, allowing him to continue his lectures during World War II. On one occasion, using imaginative power, he obtained tickets for a sea trip from New York to Barbados during the Great Depression to visit his family.

After traveling all over the country, he established his home in Los Angeles, where, at the end of the fifties, he gave talks on TV and radio, in addition to lectures to large audiences in the Wilshire Ebell Theatre during the sixties. Neville gave his lectures without using notes and ended them with question-and-answer sessions with the audience.

When asked if he recorded his lectures, he replied: "I haven't recorded anything, Some students record my lectures for their own use, and that's perfectly fine, but I don't have any recordings." Thanks to his generosity, today we have the lectures his students recorded in Los Angeles and San Francisco. His ten books were also printed in English, some published in Spanish. Neville died on October 1, 1972, in Los Angeles. Luckily, his message continues for people who want to get close to his work.

These are his ten books:

1. The Power of Awareness

2. Your faith is your fortune

3. Law and the promise

4. Awakened Imagination

5. Prayer: The art of believing

6. Out of this world

7. Seed time and harvest

8. Feeling is the secret

9. Freedom for all

10. At your command

In my opinion, his most accomplished book is The Power of Awareness. If you're just going to read a book by Neville, read this one, though it is not edited in Spanish. He also left us a lot of transcribed lectures, some recorded by his listeners.

The only one I have found edited in Spanish is Your faith is your fortune by Ediciones Obelisco. Read his books several times, as they deserve the effort to study for a more successful life. And, although his style is that of an author from the last century and a Bible scholar, his literary tone is simple and reminiscent of the fifties.

I attribute the reordering (The Manifestation Code) of his teachings (the 12 powers) only to myself, and I apologize if I have not been completely rigorous in understanding and reelaborating his teachings, but as an author of personal development, I cannot dispense with other sources of influence that I have received throughout my life.

This book focuses on the principles that govern Neville's work, explained in the best way I know so that you can use them and change your life. Let us see it.

The power of the unique reality

Inner action and outer action

In my seminars, I like to announce the audience that the outer action is the easy part of the plan. I do not know if you think it is easy to act until you modify your external circumstances, but I warn you that that’s the easiest thing to do (and yet 99% of the people fail in the outer game…) and it’s the easy part! (Imagine how things are going to get when we get to the hard part.)

What is outer action? Basically, on doing things in the world of things. What is known as agenda, plan of action, tasks… for example, most of what is examined in a coaching process is almost the external game. The behaviors, the habits, the attitudes, the plan of action with dates, the results… Ultimately, all that is outer external game, which is expressed in the world of things.

Let’s go for the difficult part. Are you ready? Here we go:

What is internal action? In a single word: being. (Explaining it is beyond words). But don’t worry, because throughout this book you will understand what it means to let the creative things express through your conscience.

Inner action is essential, external action is optional.

And at a certain level, the latter is totally unnecessary. What I want to say is that a higher level of conscience, there is less need to act in order to be able to manifest the intention. On the contrary, at a lower level of consciousness, the greater the effort necessary to manifest the desires. I know the world hasn't taught you a word to help you create an ideal of realized life, but it's just so you don't regain your unlimited power. Remember, you live in the matrix of the great deception.

I know that this speech is still difficult for some people to accept; but I would not have thrown away a "successful conventional life" to get into the extraordinary, and to play it all for myself, if I did not live it by myself. I believe in what I do, I see what I write, right in the place I love and respect most: my own life.

"Conscience is the unique reality. The world and all there is in it are states of conscience." NEVILLE

At some point I concluded that conventional coaching focuses on "making do"; and that is good but not extraordinary.

I enjoy doing a lot of things myself, people who know me know it very well. But, although we live in a seemingly material dimension, we must not forget that everything originates in a more gently plane, not visible, to which we must set a course to manifest.

I realize that many people enter the coaching profession from the materialistic Paradigm where the spirit factor is ignored. Okay, it's better than nothing, and I think you need to start there, but their approach is very mental. Too, I would say.

Future coaches attend a coaching school where they are formed as professionals and give them the guidelines of that technology of change... but, in the end, the coach will not necessarily be a person who has made an inner journey, is not selfrealized, perhaps not even satisfied with his life, does not know how to manifest his own desires, and is not remotely a successful person... and that makes coaching not entirely efficient. Most do not apply what they preach (although this occurs in all disciplines).

And I'm not saying they're bad coaches, I'm saying that as people maybe they don't have an experiential background, or the level of conscience that allows them to help others make the journey to realization.

To help others we should first be able to help ourselves... to be an example of personal and professional excellence. And that's why I wrote the book SuperCoaching, to raise the standards of those who offer coaching, and not because I want to create a new coaching school, but because I think coaching lacks more heart, or, being more clearly, to focus it from a spiritual perspective.

I call SuperCoaching the inner action to differentiate it from conventional coaching more focused on the outer action. I could have also called it GoalCoaching or SupraCoaching to differentiate it from conventional coaching. Thus, SuperCoaching is coaching from the heart, from consciousness. That's the difference from conventional coaching.

I have written a trilogy about manifestation:

1. “Appointment on the top”, which is coaching 1.0 (The outer game of success).

2. “SuperCoaching”, which is coaching 2.0 (The inner game of success)

3. “The Manifestation Code”, which is coaching 3.0 (The spiritual game of success).

These are three approaches that I believe they need to be addressed in this order.

In the first approach you get everything, in the third one you do nothing. In the first step, you want to change the world or make changes in it. In the second step, you want to change yourself. In the third step, you understand that there is nothing to change or enhance, you can only know yourself (waking up). In the third step you deliver, but you are only willing to deliver your goals when you have previously entrusted them to your ego, regardless of whether you have achieved them or not.

If you ever thought you had great power, you're right. You've been given great power but it doesn't work as you might suppose. Power consists in manifesting changes in the world. Before exploding of joy, consider the condition: the way to get it is by changing yourself first. But let us continue with the two glances: mental and spiritual. You can understand mentally from perception, but only from the knowledge of introspection can you understand spiritually. One thing is what you know and another what you are. Perceiving is fine, but knowing is better. Perceiving is interpreting the world (reading it), but knowing is shaping reality (creating it).

The second glance is ‘knowing’ from the Spirit, that is not interpretation nor perception, it is pure knowledge.

"Man's ruling illusion is his conviction that there are other causes and not the state of his own conscience." NEVILLE

From the first glance, the world is independent from one’s self, from the second glance the world is dependent on one’s self.

The Spirit does not make mistakes; he always gives the human being what he gave to himself first in his mind. Only the lower self makes mistakes by dispensing of the support of the creative Presence (the wisdom that makes situations mature). Instead of asking yourself how you got into a situation or when you'll get out of it, it’s better that you devote your energy to relating to that situation to unravel yourself so it doesn't happen again. To have a "why" or reason of how it happened what happened will be useless, it is better to know the "why" it happened what happened.

Ego makes mistakes. Although making mistakes is not the problem, it is the attachment to them, and not withdrawing from the mental position that creates and maintains them. It is not necessary not to make mistakes; rather it is necessary not to want to keep them. Withdrawing from wrong perception is the wisest thing.

First the spirit, then the matter

This book wants to take you from the conventional paradigm where suffering and impotence abound, to the paradigm o unlimited realization and power which constitutes your natural heritage. To move from one to the other one, we will have to redefine self-concept, without that perceptive change about identity there is no real progress possible. In a world where self-concept was different, we would have a totally different life experience. Also on your computer when you update the operating system the options increase. When you finish this reading you will have learned how to enter the cosmos’ operating system to change its code; and from there, you will be able to program a new reality for yourself.

In this section I would like to draw attention to the importance of unidentifying with the matter to identify yourself with the spirit. And establish a cause and effect relationship between the two. This is the secret of secrets to move from a state of survival to one of deliberate manifestation. Because any change in form will be superficial and not lasting.

"You must be convinced that there is a continuous connection between the invisible reality and its visible manifestation." NEVILLE

You and I have been led to believe that power is outer. Humanity has magic that it has forgotten to practice and therefore feels incapable of achieving a better life. It believes in bad luck, fate, chance and karma at best... an average person expresses himself like this: "look what happened to me!", without understanding that there is one or many active causes for any effect and that it is in its power to modify them. They feel like victims of a world they don't understand. Do you understand why there is so much useless suffering in the world?

In order to regain personal power, we must first give up victimhood, because they are incompatible. Everything that happens comes from the responsibility without question of fault. There is no guilt in any point of the universe, it is a concept invented by ego that strives to find guilty people and throw balls out. For your peace of mind, there's only responsibility without guilt.

We inhabit a benevolent universe
