Beschreibung

With everything present in the world, we have to understand the dialectics of it by accepting what it has to offer us from the idealistic point of view as well from the materialistic point of view. To be successful one must ensure that they are following their heart but also their mind. Passion alone is not the key to be successful and practical life alone is not everything that counts.

Perhaps this book best describes attaining that stage where you are potentially strong to be motivated for your inner and outer self. We can be passionate and determined about things through good motivation but that motivation alone is not enough to even touch the surface of what lies in the practical life. To be able to do that, one must be capable to know their worth in the market and what they should and should not do to make a name for themselves.

Introduction

Chapter 1 - Motivation

When an object exists anywhere in the universe, it dwells in a state of its own and beckons the attention of the thinkers and the doers around it. Whatever that object or matter is, it comes with a mystery of its own which soon unravels before our eyes and before we can come up with any query or question, we are blessed with the answer. This does not cease and the dynamics of the questions continue. This series of questions may not appear to be correlated or even logical and rational at some points, but it does happen . It stays in the state of dynamics forever until its metabolism gives in.

Whatever the object or the matter is, it is born with a certain quantity of inertia inside it which is pumped in such a way that it leads to making a path for itself. When we think of the object, we think it is just there on the ground or anywhere, when, in fact, it is held by the force of the gravity which exerts on it to remain in a certain posture. The inertia present in the object can make it do wonders and it can be regarded as its potential. However, the fate of this abstract and this inconclusive object, whatever it may be, is at the mercy of the outside forces of nature and mankind.

This is not the case as far as humans go. We are matter but we are no stationary objects who stand still like statues or rocks only to be driven by a gesture of nature. On the contrary, we are similar. We are so, because we possess this form of inertia that can very well enable us to do things. To make our dreams become reality; to make our lives more meaningful and important; to be able to understand what we failed to acknowledge in the past. It is only the driving force inside of us, the motivation itself, which can make us achieve wonders and do things nobody imagined.

We are still feeble and are at the mercy of the natural circumstances around us, but we have the power and the inertia to steer our abilities in a certain direction and focus on what we really want. We are not superior to the weather conditions that are around us but if we think about our resources and look around, we’ll see that we can be driven to fight it and be able to make a name for ourselves. All it takes is a little push into the future and this push is none other than the motivational force which can make us do the most amazing things in the world.

We crave it, we want it and we strive to obtain its essence when and where we can throughout our entire lives. Life seems to hand it out in overabundant buckets, spilling over us when we are children and young adults. The real world comes into view and we find ourselves thirsty with cracked lips wanting to have just one more drop to get us through the day and to help us make it into tomorrow. As we grow older, many of us discover the secret to motivation and feed ourselves on this as well as feeding the lives of those we enjoy helping to grow. Very few have the confidence, the spirit and the passion needed to take in this motivation and let it fill them with the grace of God. Those who open themselves up like a sponge, will never find themselves thirsty or starved, but instead rewarded for giving to the lives they touch. We, those who find ourselves hungry, would be lying if we did not want to learn how to grasp the gift of Motivation.

Our youth is a special time of vulnerability and innocence. This is the stage in our lives where we are fed motivation from family, friends and even other adults that surround us. The weight of the real world is not in view; our scope is small and secure. Even those from a broken home can find motivation which might be available from school, family members and anywhere we choose to find solace. We only need to open our eyes and listen to the positive individuals in our world, seek them out, take in the motivation and let it fill the gaps. We should not hesitate to push ourselves beyond our limits. Being competitive is a great motivator and it does not just stop at our youth. Life will take us on an adventure, one that we can never foresee; however we must remember to fill others with this inspiration. It should be a constant exchange of giving and receiving motivation from the people in our lives.

Not only is this mastering of self-motivation a form of inner growth, but it is a journey. It will touch our soul, influence our heart and touch the lives of those we encounter. In a time where so much hardship and turmoil seems to unfold, it is the positive fire in the icy fortress we call reality. There will be days where we will need support and inspiration by those around us, and that’s going to happen. The important thing is to build a support system, one where we motivate each other and pull each other through those tough moments.

Find people you admire to aspire you, or even compete with, pull what you like from their positive actions and follow your heart. Have faith!

Chapter 2 - What was my adventure like?

They say that every story is always influenced by someone or something. We cannot entitle ourselves to the original and the final of anything in this world. Beautiful words are often borrowed and rarely do they exist on their own. If we can see what lies on the other side of a veil, we will notice that their mystery is no longer fruitful enough and that it is over but with its cessation there is a beautiful sight. A thing which our eyes and senses had waited for so long to feel and absorb. There is no doubt in the fact that whatever it was that remained unknown had an origin. It was a product of something and its bearer was perhaps and probably more beautiful than it was.

I believe that beauty and kindness are inseparable. There is no possible way to separate the two. If there is an absence of kindness, the beauty tends to wither and loses all of its reflection and charm in a short time; if there is no beauty attached, one can be sure that there may not be something cheerful about it and a cloak of gloom or sorrow may be there. With these two things combined, there is no place left for hatred. With kindness comes a tender heart which leads to empathy and helps us glean and understand the others and their identity. It is with such acts that when we realize the other person or thing; regardless of how distant they may be we can always form a bond of love. With these two things, the love formed is truly the feeling which is perhaps only limited to literature and myths.

If we could open our eyes to see the world, we’ll realize that we had never opened them before the way we should have. The future stands for no man or woman and it holds the mightiest of all the audacities to travel forward without holding any contempt or respect for anyone. It does sound awfully cruel but only because we are held by our fixed desires and thoughts. We do not bear the power and the energy to provide kindness to anyone but ourselves. That is where we have to incline and bend ourselves to admire the beauty of beauty itself and kindness. If we just deliver ourselves from our restricted imagination and empathize towards everyone we know and those that we do not know, only then are we able to understand the importance of kindness and love. With these attributes we can live happily and carefree for the rest of our lives.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Toronto is where my journey begins in 1975 and well into the 1980’s. A childhood filled with happiness, one that was stress-free. When I now visit my childhood home, and pass by my old school, I laugh at how my friends and I did not have a clue about what stress even meant. Taking in the site, remembering where we had our adventures gives me such a sense of nostalgia, it is a wonderful and soul-enriching sensation.

Pausing, inhaling deeply, life was so simple when I went to this elementary school. It was here I found my first sense of competition; whether it was hockey in the winter or soccer in the warmer months, I loved sports. That was what we labeled as stress in those days. Motivation came so easily and I often found myself pushing my friends, feeding them the confidence I had embraced, sharing the fruits of my labor. Whenever I seemed scared, teachers, mentors, family and peers would provide the much needed positive push to keep me going in this fleeting time of my life.
