God created man for a purpose “To have dominion over everything on Earth”. He has given individuals visions and promises, but the set time of fulfilment is not given. In the scripture, Joseph passed through many tribulations, from his own brethren at home, but through his endurance, he was able to attain the goal.
It is very surprising to see Peter jumping the fence, he could no longer wait for the set time, he went back to fish. Unsuccessful he was all through the night, he and his co-fishermen caught nothing (Jn. 21:3). So also many Christians today are discouraged and lose confidence like Peter.
I am excited with you, and for you, as you read this book, it will dawn on you that no matter your needs and problems, how hard the struggle to make it in life, you already have the confidence that you will surely make it.
It is my prayer and hope that this book will make disciples of all Christians and will be of blessing to Christ's Church (Amen).

INTRODUCTION
Before the creation of man, God made provision for different times and seasons to suit the purpose of man’s creation. He made day and night, the sun, moon, and stars, summer and winter, seedtime and harvest time, and made a decree that all these times shall not cease (Genesis 8:22). All these were made for the enjoyment of man. When the psalmist saw the concern and love of God for man, that he was made a little lower than the angels, he shouted;
“What is man that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man that thou visitest him?” - Psalm 8:4.
If there was only one time and season, the earth would not be an interesting place to live and we would have been bored. Everything in this world, including man’s experiences, changes in the process of growth and development, so time and season must change. Change is one of the characteristics of man as he lives from day to day.
God created different times so that we might appreciate His works in any position we find ourselves. If a time favours us, we are expected to give God the praise, and if it is the opposite, God allowed it for a purpose. The purpose, if not for anything, is for His name to be glorified in our lives. If there is a permanent time, then some people will be suffering permanently while others will be enjoying permanent prosperity and no one will see God in whatever happens in his life. But God allows various times and seasons so that He might humble him who believes that what he is enjoying is by his effort and exalt the poor who cry and look up to Him for help.
