When the working day was finally over, I sat back in a chair and looked out of the window, observing a religiously punctual mass exodus of people from the neighbouring office blocks. It was a Friday night and I was thinking of how I was going to entertain myself over the weekend. I was single. I worked hard and played harder. At twenty six years old, I was a CEO of one of the most successful marketing companies in the country. The world was my oyster.

So, what is it going to be this time,Daniel? I asked myself. In the course of my young life I already experienced most things that even much older and richer men still had on their to-do list. I was an extreme sports addict and adrenaline junkie, who already explored the most exotic locations in the world, dined in the most exclusive restaurants, visited numerous casinos, wrestling matches, car shows, been to several celebrity parties, strip clubs, slept with many hot girls – you name it, I have done it… Tonight, I fancied something different though, something I never experienced before. I had an itch which had to be scratched, I just did not know how to do it.

I glanced over the desk and noticed a corner of a thick golden card sticking out from the pile of paperwork. Oh yeah, one of my business associates, Oliver left it for me last week. He said I should give these people a call if I ever felt bored. We knew each other since school and I trusted his judgement, even though at times Oliver could act a little crazy – just like me!

I picked up the card and read the words, intricately written in blank ink:

I was intrigued. This sounded exactly what I was looking for. I left the office and drove to the expensive address in Kingston written on the card. I pulled over by the imposing old building with two marble columns. I run up the steps and was just about to ring the bell, when a heavy mahogany door in the middle silently opened before me.

“Good evening, Mister Lewis!” A gorgeous blonde woman invited me to enter a large hallway. “I’m Natalie. We have been expecting you, please come in.”

I hesitantly entered and followed her down the corridor, wondering what I have got myself into. Natalie opened the door and showed me to a large room with a tall ceiling, lavishly decorated with crystal candelabras, expensive fabric and antique porcelain.

“Mister Lewis, how lovely to see you!” An even more gorgeous smiling redhead in a golden dress got off the couch and extended her hand to greet me. “My name is Angela. I’m so glad that you decided to come.”

“Hi, nice to meet you too… Well, someone I know gave me your card last week. The Game of Change sounds intriguing. What is it exactly?”

“The Game, Mister Lewis, is an extraordinary life-changing experience, offered to gentlemen of means, such as yourself,” Angela said mysteriously, inviting me to take a seat.
