In this book, I have comprised many thoughts, feelings, and struggles of many people dedicated to the Christian faith. I've used moments of my life as well as moments of the lives of others to really drive the message that 'Nobody's perfect, and we all need one another. Often times, as I travel in the ministry, I notice that many people are afraid to voice their pains, voice their issues, and voice their brokenness. I really wish to clarify that it's through our brokenness that the love of Jesus really begins to shape and mold us into His image and likeness. We can't come to God with everything all together. We have to be humble enough to come to Him and allow Him to put us back together. I hope that someone is encouraged to love a little harder, have faith a little longer, and to hope without end.

I’m Just A Flower
Here, I give you two crowns of glory.
One to please yourself, and the other
To show the world your story.
In your crown, lies layers and layers
Of lies and deceit.
But with a meekness of heart you’ve
Overcome that week after week.
The jewels that shine so pretty and bright
From here to there
Symbolize the many tears that
You’ve had to cry night after night.
The glitter that sparkles and the sturdy
Frame that holds it straight is just
Public displays of God’s grace.
Symbolizing all of the times that
He wouldn’t let you down and all of
The times that you were lost and He allowed
You to be found.
This crown, this crown is for the world to see
Showing that God can make all things possible even when
The situation looks bleak.
So wear your crowns just as proud
As can be,
Because they are the only witnesses
Of your life’s story from weak to meek!
Sometimes it’s hard to rise above
Unchartered waters.
Floating, sinking, panting
For dear life all the while.
Like you’re passing through the tides
Known only to be Sorrow’s child.
Sometimes, it feels better
To taste the winds and be
Forced to stare into the skies of a gentle breeze.
Some will never understand the pain
Of staying a float
When it’s just so easy to simply let go.
Some will never understand the agony
Of kicking amidst the waves
Until they’ve been forced to lie witness
To their own dreary graves.
Some may find this chaotic, strange,
Or even wild.
But what can I say?
I must be sorrow’s child.
Sometimes the tears flow at such a constant rate
That even my very existence I begin to hate.
The pain of my failures, heartbreaks, and setbacks
Puts me in a place of suffocation.
As I begin to drown in the puddles of life,
It’s like no one can understand
