In many cases, if not most, people that are prophetically inclined are most likely eccentric. They are peculiar. Which means their behavior is just strange. Prophets are born with the mantle, but at the same time, grace selects them. Even if you do not carry the mantle, you can still become powerful and effective in the prophecy gift. I have seen many with the gift of prophecy operating much more potent than those with the mantle. They desired strong enough for it and availed themselves to go through the discipline process that comes with it. Many disqualify themselves based on education, social standing, or monetary instability. Yet this gift or mantle is screaming at them, and they have no idea how to embrace it. The word of God is clear about no richer or poorer, no more male, no more female, no more adult, no more child, no more Jew or Greek. Gender preferences should be removed from the equation from the word go. Race should not even be a factor when it comes to the operation in the prophetic. No race is superior or inferior. It is all about selection and a strong desire for the gift. It is also about the obedience to answer the call on your lives. Everything you are going through or about to go through is part of your prophetic journey, training, and processing. Every prophet is unique to his or her calling and assignment. From Elijah’s times, we see how prophets operated in the power of deliverance, resurrecting the dead, healed those afflicted, and shook nations. They had no tolerance for sin, unrighteousness, and wickedness but convinced people towards holiness. They raised sons to operate with them and taught them what they knew. Prophets and seers far and near were feared by many because of God’s power that was upon them. Though it is good to desire this gift, it is even more vital to answer the call if you have one. Whether you are a singer, dancer, or preacher in the prophetic, step into it now. This book is an elementary introduction to the prophetic and brings about better understanding before entering fully.
