To all my lost souls. nascentes morimur, just like flowers
Not everything in a fallen flower will be grammatically
correct or rosy, but it’ll be straight from me so it is
what it is.
&
“I’m dead! Applaud” is an afterthought and not the same
concept as a fallen flower.
Short stories inspired by deaths that have taken place
on a stage.

I wore color you wore white
You were the sun to my shine.
I was the map, you were the compass. Now I can't navigate.

I need someone to be at fault, maybe you and me or God. Your memories will be safe with me. I'll try to honour them, you'll always be my precious gem, the one that held up my stem.

Since I've met you I have felt this strange yet familiar feeling, a warmth only you could bring to my shallow heart.

A beautiful day in November we can remember. We sat in silence looking at the world outside. Thinking this could be forever. It is inside my heart.

I used to think some deaths were beautiful, but yours has only been sorrow and suffering.
Although your time was short the impact will be forevermore.

As the sun casts its shadow over the mountains high you could hear an owl sing its time to die.

A sweet little bird at the break of dawn. Looking for a place to stay until the storm pervades, seeing sunshine through her eyes she is yet to see the world of my heart. Through it all, over the mountain high she flies, at noon she is on the move to see the sun set as the sky's turning red. For sleep and shelter she is ready to see the moon bright on the water. While continuing the search through all my heart.

I've been sitting in the cottage on Daisy road, always looking, always waiting for you to walk down the road. I have left the light on and will continue to do. Until the moment I see you.
*****
We climbed trees and it was just you and me.
*****
The imprints left in the grass won't be there for long, when it gets the chance it’ll slowly rise back, just like nothing was ever there. It disappeared just like you slowly do.
*****
Into the storm he walked not alone but with friends.
