DEDICATION
For every young heart standing at the crossroads - dreaming big, doubting loud, and daring to believe there's more. This is for YOU! May you find your fire and refuse to live small. You are a TIME BILLIONAIRE!
ACKNOWLEDGMENT
To God Almighty, the source of my strength and the breath of my creativity. This is possible because You are my Father, blessing me with the gift of this freedom that I now carry forward as a responsibility. I hope I am fulfilling the assignment well.
To my Dad, the late Pa. Vincent U. J. Akpor-Williams, I know you must be very proud of the woman I have become, and I am carrying out the great things you once envisioned for me. I am living your legacy.
To my parents, Sir Peter & Lady Ejiro Omo-Odudu, who have been a huge support in my journey and trusted me to fulfil my dreams. To my Mum, Ajiri Akpor-Williams – the womb that bore such greatness – thank you for supporting me even when you don't fully grasp what I am doing.
To my siblings, who inspire me to keep going and look up to me as a source of inspiration – I push every day because of you all: Iruoghene, Fejiro, Aghogho, Mamus (my Paddi), Godson, and Oghogho.
To Sir Fela Durotoye, who, through GEMSTONE leadership Sunday meetings, taught me the concept of Time, which has shaped my consciousness to this day. And to Uncle Steve Harris, who, through MTN Pulse Campus Invasion at the University of Benin, awakened me to my potential and helped me realise the importance of not wasting it. Thank you, Sir.
To my mentors, supporters, friends, and everyone who has contributed to making this vision a reality, I am grateful that you are part of my journey. God bless you all.
Psalm 90:12: “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
The word ‘number’ is the same word manah, which means to prepare or appoint your days, not to just wait and watch passively to see what the days will bring. To number your days is not to count them but to value them, steward and shape them with intentionality and purpose. To live well and right with urgency, clarity, and impact.
The trouble is, you think you have time, but wisdom begins when you realise you don’t.
~ The Time Billionaire Mentor

“Being young isn’t just about your number of years; it’s about having the power to act, decide, and shape your life. Without that, you’re simply ageing without living out your youth.”

INTRODUCTION
I didn’t write this book to sound wise or because I have it all figured out. As a matter of fact, I am still in my 20s, just like you, and I am learning in my own journey. I wrote this because I once stood where you stand – uncertain, afraid, and filled with questions and thoughts of “what can be” as I took steps. And now, I write as one who has seen the smoke before the fire and dares to awaken a slumbering generation.
There comes a moment when life doesn’t just whisper to you, it shakes you awake. For me, that moment came in layers that birthed this book. I had always known I carried something – a spark, a weight, and a quiet kind of knowing.
But I stayed hidden, not because I lacked clarity, but because I allowed my personality to become my permission slip for delay. I called myself an introvert, and while that may have been true, I used it as a shield. I kept telling myself, “I’m not ready,” while watching doors close and moments pass that I was born to walk through.
I waited for someone to choose me, to validate me, and to invite me into what I was already equipped for. And in that delay, I learned something painfully honest: you can be fully loaded and still live empty if you keep waiting for the perfect moment to begin.
But that was just the first stirring, because what broke me became an awakening during my visit to Warri, Delta State, where I went to see my family. There, I saw what I now call possibility blindness – girls pregnant far too early, boys roaming with no compass, and young people walking through life unaware of what they carry, lost in survival, not vision.
It was more than pain; it was prophecy unfulfilled. It looked too familiar to ignore because I once lived in that environment before I was handpicked 12 years ago. And like Joseph, I was taken out to come in.
On September 28, 2024, I had a dream, which I believed was an encounter, right after the Visionary Leadership Conference (VLC) by Debola Deji-Kurumi. In that dream, I saw a thick cloud cover the earth. I could see it, but no one else could. People went about their day – cars moving, people living like normal – but I knew something was wrong.
“Why was I the only one seeing it?” I muttered under my breath. Standing still in bewilderment, I called out to a young boy nearby, asking if he could see what I was seeing, but he couldn’t. Suddenly, chaos erupted. A stampede. Confusion everywhere. Youths and young children running for safety, afraid.
And then, somehow, I began to lead. With the help of an army, I gathered the young children and brought them to safety. When I woke up, I didn’t just wake up from sleep; I woke up to a higher sense of purpose: a calling of what I saw and what I must do.
Too many youths are sleepwalking through their prime season, confusing delay for preparation, wearing shame like skin, and waiting for the world to call them worthy. Because I have seen what happens when potential is not protected, when vision is blurred, and when you wait too long to say “yes,” I wrote this book as a mirror and a map.
A mirror to reflect the truth many are too afraid to say out loud, and a map to show you it’s not too late to reroute. This is not just a book; it’s a rescue mission. Not just for you, but for the generation coming after you.
So, from one who’s been there – who delayed, who doubted, and finally decided to obey -let this book be your wake-up call: Before You Waste Your Youth.
