You should leave thesceneimmediately, saying nothing, so that your opponent loses the attacking environment. Please note: walking away like this isnota gesture of weakness, as many people think – patience during this time is extremely important!

Anger is like a house on fire – when it hits you, you should go to thebathroomright away and pour very cold water on your head for about three minutes (or if there is a river nearby, jump in and take a bath for about an hour). Then you should continue to shower for about 20 minutes with normal water – the purpose of this is to cool down your body heat. Of course, to fight fire, we need water!

While putting your head under the cold-water tap – you should breathe deeply, pressing the air down into the abdomen, holding it for 10–15 seconds, and then exhaling slowly and repeating this many times. Focus on what you are doing! Inhale – exhale. Don’t think about what just happened!

Tipsfor letting out your anger quickly: simultaneously: Put your head into very cold water and breathe deeply. Do this many times!

Next, you should drink a glass of cold water, with lemon and honey (to compensate for the amount of calories consumed by anger). Then keep walking for about 60–90 minutes – while you walk, think about what happened: who was right and who was wrong. By the end of this time, your anger may be reduced by up to 80–90%.

When going outside, you need to contact yourclosestfriend and invite him or her to a cafe to discharge the issue – the purpose of this is to pour out what is anchored in your heart!

If you are wrong, you should apologize.

Chapter Two: DIY Foot and Face Massages

A – Foot Massage

Foot massages are a very fascinating subject and have many benefits, because they give your body stimulation. Make it work well, and ensure that it has solid health! Why?

The two soles of the feet are the places where the most blood vessels concentrate. There are many important points (foci) and the reflex area link to five organs: the heart, the liver, the spleen, the lungs and the kidneys.

When we stimulate (press on) the soles of the feet and around the ankle, this act affects the whole body: the blood flows more smoothly and when the blood circulates regularly in the body, we will certainly avoid lots of diseases!

When the heart contracts, it pumps blood throughout the body. The feet are the furthest away from the heart – therefore, the amount of blood supplied to the feet has decreased. Now we press on the reflector area this creates asecond thrustlike an electric transformer station – of course, if the bloodstream in the body starts circulating again, it comes and goes smoothly and easily!

Once when I was on summer vacation in Asia, I had to walk a lot every day, so my feet were extremely tired.

One day, I stopped at a foot massage shop to try it out. It was a nice surprise and a miracle – after 60 minutes of pressing and massaging from the knees down to the soles, I felt like I was flying. My legs were completely comfortable and healthy like they had never been before.

Over and over again, I went to the foot massage parlor, to have them to treat my legs – and I felt like I was addicted. When only a single day went by without a massage, I felt uncomfortable.

One day I asked Mr. Massage: In my country, there are few people doing this job and massages are too expensive – besides, I have to go to work every day and I only have weekends off. In order to always be in good health, I would now like to suggest to you a new approach:

Meals: divided into threeequalmealtimes during the day – eatfishfour to five days a week. Eat less: only 80-90% of your stomach capacity – more importantly,chewvery well – and keeping thestomachalways healthy is the most important factor to increase longervity!

Vegetables, tubers,muchfruit and mixednutsshould account for about 40% (60% for people aged65and over) of your daily intake!

Spaghettidelicious, nutritious dish: cooked with athick soup(Multiple bones: one-third pork bone and two-thirds chicken bone!)and when the pasta is just cooked, all of the soup will also run out.

In addition, you should eat lots of chopped freshlemongrass(the white part) mixed with a little pepper and salt in the main meal and one to two large pieces of jam gingeraftera meal will help with better digestion

You also have to regularly steam bath:

It is recommended to use “half a teaspoon of ointment Vicks VapoRub” with about one and a half litres of boiled water!

Or cook three to four litres litres of water with fresh leaves: guava, grapefruit, lemon and citronella in apot(steam bath for about 15 minutes)

In addition: you must exercise daily (walk) about 30-60 minutes – and should always keep body weight according to the following formulae:

Chapter Three: Love stories during the Vietnam War period

The Teacher Mr. Huong

Mr. Huong, a teacher, was the principal of Cai Con Elementary School in a beautiful village on the banks of the Mekong River in downstream Vietnam. It’s a prosperous village, with fertile rice paddies and tropical fruit trees all year round: grapefruits, oranges, tangerines, bananas, sweet potatoes…

Fish gather here, because there is a convergence of seawater and freshwater from the Upper Mekong as it reaches the sea – indeed, it’s the promised land for humans on this planet earth.

On the other side of the river, there is a fishing village. The fishermen are very well off, because they catch lots of fish.

Late at night, in the moonlight, when oil lamps light up an area of water (there is no electric power here), they work energetically, happily – in the distance, there is the sound of folk songs telling of a boy who flirts with a girl: “Darling, don’t marry a husband far away, sometime in future when your parents get old and weak, nobody will offer a bowl of rice and a kettle of tea… to them” – the song echoes through the quiet emptiness of the night, people are mesmerized – they are living a veryhappy life in the peaceful countryside.

Mr. Huong had a son who was 10 years old and a daughter Viet Hong, who was two. His wife, Mrs.  Huong, was an ex-teacher, who left the school after having children.

A teacher’s aim is always to try to educate children to become good and useful people for the next generation – besides, the school also needs the support of the parents in teaching the children. So Mrs. Huong left the school to take care of her children and family. It’s much better that way.

According to her, women should only work at most50%,when they don’t have children or have children who are six or older. The women do mainly housework –, and this helps their husbands to relax after a day of work.

Mrs. Huong had two close friends from childhood who lived nearby: Mrs. Sau who had a 10-year-old son nicknamedX1and Mrs. Nam with her daughter Loan, who was also 10.

The son of Mrs. Sau and the daughter of Mrs. Nam were both loving students of Mr. Huong, because they did well at school and were full of filial piety for everyone – both had lost their fathers because of the war!

The Huong family had two children: a 10-year-old son nicknamedX2and a two-year-old daughter, named Viet Hong – all three (X1,X2and Miss Loan) were 10and studied in the same class with Mr. Huong.
