Auricular points are specific stimulating points on the ear. When the disorder occurs in the parts of the body, then it may appear various reactions at the corresponding areas of the ear. Thus, in order to make a diagnosis, it can be taken to stimulate the sensitive sites, and to prevent diseases.
The distribution of ear points on the ear follows a certain scheme.
The ear is compared to an inverted fetus with the head down towards the top. Ear points corresponding to head and face are near Earlobe. The points corresponding to the upper limbs are at the Scapha. Lower limbs are around the superior and inferior crus of Antihelix. Internal organs are Cymba Concha and Cavity of Concha.
