From Boston to Venezia for love
Joe and Mark, two best friends, both thirty years old and of italian origin, have been inseparable buddies ever since. They met while they were studying at the University of Boston (U.S.A) and were room-mates on campus. Joe is from Rock Hill, South Carolina and Mark is from Omaha, Nebraska. Joe has an instinctive personality and often does things without thinking. Instead, Mark is shy and reflective and he sometimes suffers the consequences of his friend’s behavior. They've been working for the same electric company since graduation. In order to save money on rent, they share the same apartment located in downtown Boston. One day, after work, they decide to go out for an ice-cream. The best ice cream in town is at “Gigi's Gelateria” in the italian district of North End. At the ice cream parlour, they see two very attractive women, who are standing in line just in front of them. While they are waiting for their turn, they have a chance to meet them. They discover that Debbie is twenty-nine years old and Susan is twenty-eight and that they are sisters and of Polish origin. They are high school teachers and work at the same school in the metropolitan area of Cambridge, Boston. They moved from Chicago, Illinois, two years ago and now live in a beautiful house with a garden near Revere beach. What strikes the buddies the most of these beautiful girls is that Debbie has incredible eyes and Susan has an amazing smile. Joe can't help himself and becomes very talkative with them and so does Mark, despite his shyness. Once they all ordered their ice-creams, the buddies invite the sisters for a walk. Shortly afterwards, as they are walking, the buddies receive an emergency phone-call from work. There's been an electrical outage in a building downtown and they must leave immediately. But before they leave, Joe and Mark ask the girls out for a date on the following evening at 7 o’clock, at the same ice cream parlour. Debbie and Susan accept the invitation happily. Joe and Mark spend most of the night with their co-workers fixing the electrical problem, then they return home exhausted but excited at the thought of their upcoming date with the new girls. They just can't get them out of their heads. After the long night's job they get some sleep and start to get ready for their dates. First, they go and get a haircut at Riccardo's, their neighbourhood barber shop. While they are waiting, they talk about their dates to Riccardo and the other customers. Afterwards, they need a nice new suit, so they go to a men's clothing store. They really want to look good and impress the girls, but they are having th [...]
