The book starts with showing you how to connect your data to QlikView and create your own QlikView application. You will also learn how to perform analysis on your data in QlikView and master the various types of security measures to be taken in QlikView.

Chapter 3, Creating Data Models, teaches us about data modeling and why it is important for fast and scalable dashboards. In this chapter, you'll create a data model by joining data and then review it in the frontend.

Chapter 4, Components in QlikView, takes us through various QlikView components and their configurations. Some of these components are essential when it comes to using an interactive and user-friendly dashboard.

Chapter 5, Building a Dashboard, shows us how to build a dashboard by adding multiple KPIs and charts. This chapter helps you to understand how you can create dynamic dashboards as well.

Chapter 6, Set Analysis, shows us that set analysis is a powerful way to achieve business metrics. In this chapter, we'll see how we can apply it in QlikView expressions.

Chapter 7, Adding Security, shows you how to secure your data based on the various audience types. Here, you'll learn how you can reduce the data for a particular user based on their credentials.
