How to Use Android TV to Watch Amazon Prime Video

Users who have a Prime subscription may watch Prime Video and listen to Amazon Music for free. Amazon Prime Video is a video streaming subscription service that allows you to watch the most recent and exclusive movies, TV episodes, and award-winning Amazon originals. You may also download titles to watch later, wherever and whenever you choose. In addition to mobile devices, the Prime Video app is accessible on platforms such as gaming consoles, smart TVs, and streaming devices. The Prime Video app is frequently pre-installed on Android-powered Smart TVs. If not, you can get the app from the Google Play Store, download and install it on your Android TV.

Installing and Activating Prime Video on Android TV

[1] Turn on your Android TV and connect it to the internet through a normal connection.

[2] Use the remote to go to the Apps area by pressing the home button.

[3] Choose the Google Play Store app. You may also access the Play Store by going to Apps > Google Play Store or Getting More Apps.

[4] Using the provided remote, type and search for Prime Video in the search field.

[5] Choose the Prime Video app from the search results.

[6] Click the Install button and wait for the installation to finish.

[7] After installation, click Open to begin using it.

[8] Select the Sign in option and take note of the activation code shown on your TV screen.

[9] Launch your mobile or PC browser and navigate to http://primevideo.com/mytv.

[10] If you have a Prime membership, log in to your Amazon account and input the activation code.

[11] Start watching Prime Video content on your Android TV by selecting Register Device.
