More than thirteen years ago, an acquaintance of mine mentioned a story about being visited by beings from outer space. Sometimes he talked about things that didn't match his lifestyle or his knowledge at all. Over the following years, in random encounters somewhere on the street, he recounted the mysterious events in his life. At first I doubted it all. I do not deny that I was fascinated by these events. Since he is an absolutely simple-thinking person, I understand that all this can be based on facts. I have always nicknamed him Bertrand and so I name him in this book. The last time Bertrand told me about a mysterious meeting that took place in Zemplínská Šírava, I decided to write a book about it. Be that as it may, it is indisputable that this person could invent such a thing. His hard life wouldn't give him room for that, and besides, Bertrand was never interested in science fiction and related things. It took me a very long time to at least partially compose these illogical and torn thoughts that he entrusted to me. That's why I wrote this incredible story as much as I could.

Preface

Preface

They were here more than dinosaurs. They were here more than anything we know. They left us links that we can't decipher. We just think we understand them a little bit. Error. Cave paintings and figures tell us stories we don't understand at all. Here and there, the sages appear, pretending to solve this or that mystery ... But in time, they come across another wall that will destroy everything they tried to put into a shape. Everything is vanity, it is not for nothing that this proverb exists. Antiquity, where stone was the basic building block, was able to build gigantic buildings, in which we still cannot say exactly how and what they were built. We know nothing at all. We seem to be living in a kind of ignorance. As we keep trying to explain our own origins, we are torn between science and religion. Every year, science makes new discoveries that automatically refute what we have been taught in schools all our lives. We find that the truth is really somewhere in the universe. A truth we have no idea about and we would never understand because it is not for us. The higher power, perhaps a being, is so high above us that we are more of an attempt at something, the idea she has made of it, as if we should probably look ... Endless thoughts, conspiracies, ideas about the very origin of the world and man assumptions that don't let us sleep keep us going. And the further we move, the more questions come up. But as we have noticed, neither answer. Maybe it is not for us to receive answers, maybe we do not have the right to assess and study the very essence. But we have one thing in common and we don't even realize it. At night we look up at the stars. Each of us looks at the stars as if searching for something in or between them. We do not know. We look at them, but we don't know why. What is this code that is stored somewhere in us waiting for it to darken and look up at the stars? Do we all have something in common in them? What do we expect from the stars? What is so magical about them? What are we actually looking for in them? That our essence of being? Questions and questions, assumptions and theories, endless conspiracies or ideas. We have nothing. We have nothing to lean on, although the remnants of the whole story are everywhere we move. But we do not understand them, we cannot decipher them and at the same time we look at them face to face. Is that so. The crack is very large, it has gigantic dimensions, for which we will probably never know the whole story. We will have to start from the beginning. However, not to look behind you, but rather to look at what we see now. What is happening around us, where we are heading, where we are looking. As children, we were taught that angels were coming from heaven to guard the children. They take care of them and their safety during children's games. Angels, white beings, in white clothes, with big wings that love and care for us. I am pleased with this idea. We do not allow bad things into our minds. We tell each other fairy tales that accompany us all our lives and pass them on. I really want these angels to exist, to take care of us, to make us feel safe. As a child, I also imagined them in white clothes, flying over my head, smiling at me and making sure no one hurt me. But there is one catch. What or before whom should these angels protect us? If we are afraid of something, we usually have the urge to immediately invent a tool that will protect us from that fear. Before how Should Angels Protect Us? What is their duty to us when they arrive from heaven? We look at the essence of the story again, we do not understand for ourselves what we are talking about. There is a reason why these our protectors arose. The cause, which has been here since the very beginning of humanity, something we are very afraid of, and that is why we have invented our guardians. But what we are so afraid of, we do not even know what we are talking about and where it comes from. Free, without the wind, not even a leaf will move. We will not create anything without motivation. Without an idea of something, we will not invent a story or a fairy tale. So what do we talk about when we mention guardian angels? What are they supposed to protect us from so obligatorily ?! Maybe it's not up to us to know. Maybe it's another crack, for which we will again miss the whole story and again we will not have a chance to understand it. We are unconscious, we do not understand. Angels come from heaven, some devils from hell, but angels will protect us with their goodness and love. Really ?!

Chapter one - Darkness, light, and a strange dream

Chapter one - Darkness, light, and a strange dream.

I picked up slowly, the floor was hard. I realized I wasn't where I lay down to sleep. It was dark. Only through the window did the moonlight dim the room, in which I slowly began to make out the outlines. I realized that I was lying in the middle of the room, looking at the bunk bed. My grandmother slept on the lower bed. Unmoved, she didn't even notice that something had happened. After a while, I sat down and still stared at the bed. How did I get here? Down here on the ground? I fell? That would hurt something, maybe my leg, maybe my arm ... but nothing hurt. I slowly got up. Nothing happened to me, so I climbed back up to the bed and looked down for a while. I still couldn't believe that I would have fallen from such a height, because it would be an impact that my grandmother would wake up to, I would definitely notice that something had happened. How is that…

I woke up, it was morning, the sun was already shining through the window and I was looking forward to swimming in Zemplínská Šírava. It was a holiday and I didn't have to sit over notebooks and write mandatory dictations. As a sophomore in elementary school, I didn't even take these responsibilities seriously. I ran out of the cottage, there were already a bunch of children on the beach, swimming and watering.
