FOREWORD

Kinanti is  in Javanese language. Kinanti is a words mean a sound, a rhyme. Rhyme of  human living. The spirit, the tradition, the ceremony and the meaning inside. Sad and happiness. As a circle and dialectic of living. Simply Kinanti means 'macapat'  a kind of singing i loaded with guidance, advice, love and affection.

As 'Mount Lawu' is a massive compound stratovolcano straddling the border between East Java and Central Java, Indonesia. The north side is deeply eroded and the eastern side contains parasitic crater lakes and parasitic cones. Or 'Beringharjo' market in The Beringharjo Market (Indonesian: Pasar Beringharjo, Javanese: ꦥꦱꦂꦧꦼꦫꦶꦁꦲꦂꦗ, romanized: Pasar Beringharja) is the oldest market in the Kraton area of Yogyakarta, Indonesia, having been a continuous place of trade since 1758. As it's stated in wikipedia.

The word Kinanti choosen by the writer, Dad Murniah. Dad Murniah pen name is Nia Samsihono. Perhaps her friend called her Nia and her Dad name is Samsihono. Grown up in Javanese culture where a man is a dominan person and a woman tends to be a submissive. But is it always truth ?

Let's feel the substances in her poems ... feel Kinanti ...
