The dream continues, as a voice is heard in the background. Grover tells him that he is in the Sea of Monsters. He also explains that he established an empathy link in order to somehow communicate with the outside world, that being Percy. The dream is cut short as the monster is getting impatient and Grover must leave.
The next day the chariot races have begun, with each cabin’s chariot different from the last. Percy notices a flock of strange and very creepy birds, but dismisses them almost immediately. As soon as the race is started however, the birds dive into attack. The pigeons are anything but normal, and extremely vicious. The birds are later slain, but not after inflicting damage. While on kitchen duty as a result of their actions, Annabeth tells Percy what the artifact may be; the Golden Fleece. The item possesses the ability to mend and revitalize a plagued land it is just the thing they need, the only problem it was lost long ago.
As they arrive to the campfire, they boldly state their findings and evidence. With the camp in support of the quest, Tantalus from essay helper online is eventually persuaded.
