I stared at my sister in shock, my jaw hitting the floor as she nervously glanced around. She looked uncomfortable after unloading what had happened the night we had gone out for my birthday. My leather couch awkward squeaked with her movements.
“Sarah… You… you what?” I stuttered.
“Well, you told me what happened that night with Rashid, so I figured I’d tell you what happened with me and Joe,” Sarah replied.
“What about your husb-”
My sister raised her hand and shook her head. “We’re not going there. Let’s just say he’s a big fan of Joe. Apparently he plays sports. He was happy to get some signed stuff.”
“You’re… You have got to be kidding me… So he’s okay with it as long as he gets autographed stuff?” I questioned.
“What? Oh no, he doesn’t know and he doesn’t have to. You told me about how crazy it was with Rashid. Imagine how I felt after not getting some for so… so… soooooo long,” she responded.
“Wow, really?”
“Yeah, you’ve heard me complaining since my second pregnancy. It’s been like I don’t exist as a woman,” Sarah answered.
“Well…” I paused as I looked at the ground. “So... I didn’t tell you everything we did. I mean, he um…” I nervously looked up at her and gave her a small smile. “Like, he took one virginity away from me,” I continued.
Her eyes widened and she laughed. My face grew warm with embarrassment before she paused and looked me in the eyes. “Me too,” she said.
“WHAT?!” I replied, shocked. “You didn’t!”
