In this summary of revelations and impressions that speak about both the present and the coming time, I would like to highlight what I have heard and experienced, and what I have discovered in the Word of God in this regard.
Eager Expectation
In the Body of Christ, the Holy Spirit is bringing about a new and profound awareness of God. We are seeing a growing expectation and faith for the manifestation of God's glory to increase both in the lives of individuals and in and outside the church. Things we have long believed for will unfold before our eyes. What seemed impossible just a few years ago will suddenly become possible, and promises that have not yet been fulfilled will come to pass.
The presence of God will erupt in power in various places and the word will be fulfilled that HE will come like a raging flood (cf. Isaiah 59:19-21).
Now is the time to yield to this urging of the Holy Spirit, to make room in our hearts and to pray as well as fast with expectation, so that breakthroughs can come and the power of God may be seen through us.
Now is the time to call forth that which is not yet (cf. Romans 4:17).
Now is the time to rejoice in what God is doing (cf. Isaiah 65:18) and to boldly declare His purposes (promises) in faith before we ever see them.
Now is the time to look up to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2; Luke 21:28), and not to flee from circumstances, but to stand firm in the challenges knowing that no one can override God's plans nor His government.
For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross (Colossians 1:16–20; NIV).
God will choose people—usually those who have not been in the limelight until now—and equip them with a special anointing of reconciliation and bridge-building. Their wisdom will be recognized and acknowledged because it is not based on diplomatic skill alone, but on a relationship with the Spirit of Wisdom, which is the Spirit of God. James says of this wisdom from above:
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness
