30 short stories for highly sensitive children
Highly sensitive children are something very special. They are exceptionally sensitive and perceive their environment particularly intensively. Whether it is the sounds at the birthday party, the smells when cooking together or the reactions to a dramatic action in a movie: They are extremely empathic and react strongly to all external influences.
High sensitivity is not a weakness - but a great strength
Highly sensitive children are especially talented at dealing with other people's feelings. Sensitively, they are more likely to perceive them and can respond wonderfully to others. They are a great asset and contribute to a better world thanks to their enormous empathy. But being highly sensitive can also be a burden. Quickly you feel different, excluded, misunderstood. This book explains in 30 different short stories why it is not bad to be highly sensitive - quite the opposite.
Stories full of morality and compassion
The stories are about highly sensitive children and animals who learn to find their way in the world. In the process, they discover themselves and their feelings, meet acceptance, and make new friends. Many stories end with a moral that teaches children how to deal with themselves and their social environment.

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Sophia who lived in a beautiful village at the foot of a mountain. Sophia was a very attentive and sensitive girl who always paid attention to how the people and animals around her felt. She was especially caring and kind to everyone she met, and her parents and friends appreciated her very much for that.
One day Sophia decided to take a trip to the nearby forest to pick flowers and observe the animals. She set out early in the morning and wandered deeper and deeper into the forest. When she reached a small clearing, she suddenly saw a small squirrel helplessly caught in a net. Sophia immediately rushed to the squirrel and carefully freed it from the net.
"Thank you, thank you!" squeaked the squirrel when he was free. "I am very grateful to you for saving me. I am the king of squirrels and I would like to give you something for being so helpful."
Sophia was surprised that the squirrel addressed her as king, but she wanted nothing for her help. "No thanks, I like to do good for others without expecting anything in return," she said politely.
The king of squirrels smiled and said, "Then I will grant you one wish. You may have one wish, and I will do everything in my power to grant it."
Sophia thought for a long time and finally decided that she wished that all the people and animals in the forest could live happily and in peace. The king of the squirrels nodded and said, "Your wish is my command. I will make sure that everyone in the forest lives happily and in peace."
