About the Author
In my dream too, we all are equal and not color, religion nor income defines who we are.
Neither country nor region, defines us as kin.
Whether two legs or four, plant or animal, we were all created of the one Creator; with no greater claim to borrow this beautiful Earth.
In my dream, we all are one; treating each other with love and respect and living in peace.
We are all truly AWAKE, knowing our purpose: to share love and joy and to uplift each other and in doing so uplift ourselves.
In my dream…we each remember and appreciate each other and truly understand all is well.
Scared and confused, wrong place–wrong time?
I look in the mirror not comprehending what I find.
I know I am more than what they see, but uncertain why,
I hold back the best within me.
What if I fail–what will they think?
Who am I to shine? As I feel my heart sink.
Not enough money, talent or beauty… Who am I to try?
Especially when my fears are so high.
I never fit in, yet afraid to stand out.
I have spent my whole life riddled with doubt.
Still scared and confused, ordinary stings worse than fear;
Because I know there is a passion within me I feel.
I know I must change, uncertain what is to come.
I begin and work so hard, yet it seems never done.
I feel different with each step–passion transforms clumsy feet into wings.
No longer weighed down, my heart soars through new things.
I am living my purpose, traded fear for faith.
Now, the world sees my beauty–yet still the same face.
We all have fears, doubts and habits to break.
But, trust that still small voice more than the echo,
And Truth will transform your passion to fate.
A hole in my heart, I am never enough, guilt weighs me down as sin.
This suffering depletes me, ashamed of what I have done; this pain comes from deep within.
A lifetime of struggle, self-imposed, because I was not worthy of Him.
Quiet desperation, of which no one can know; or they are certain to see my sins.
Stillness brings sadness, until I finally cry out to Him.
“Please free me from bondage;” and I allow a little light in.
Struggling to feel pride, although my conscience I hide, I continue to reach for Him.
Stop beating yourself up child, there is no sin; rings out from a voice deep within.
I read Truth and understand Love to lessen the pain I am in.
I sit and wonder; had I ever truly recognized His light within?
In that moment, wonder turns to awe, as my faith rumbles from within.
Just as every newborn child, I was blessed at birth; not by my deeds, but by the Creator.
Humbled by this Truth, I sit in wonder, was this hole just perceived to keep my light dim?
Stunned at the thought of who’s I am; suddenly I realize I am complete as I am.
No deed or possession could fill a Divine hole, for God’s love leaves me nothing but full.
In this moment I believe. I am stronger than I knew; not by doing more, but simply understanding it is through me God lives, breathes and does for me and you.
Power is inherent in strength; fear is inborn of force.
Power is allowing Spirit to flow through me; force is pushing it away.
Power is the overflowing of abundance; force coerces the way.
Power is grace in bloom; while force is a crushing blow.
Power unfolds in perfection; force breaks down the door.
Power is a glorious embrace; force traps and holds without choice.
Power sees the internal rewards; force seeks bigger trophies.
Power’s opulence is inherent; while force bullies respect.
Power glows and excites; force burns and destroys.
Power surges effortlessly; force pries between to separate.
Power grows eternally; while force is scarcity at its core.
Power is God’s will in motion; force is want in action.
Power rests into life; force wrests from desire.
Power is a peaceful understanding; force thrusts its view upon the world.
God is powerful. Force is when I do not listen…again.
Perfect Power, Infinite Light, surround me with your Divine Light.
Loving Father, Mother God; hold me close, may I remember Thee most.
Graceful Comfort, Perfect Strength, grant me the passion to fulfill why I came.
Joyful Presence, Jubilant Dance of Light, help me to remember to see joy, not plight.
Radiant Teacher, Magnificent Kindness, grant me your favor, as I grant other’s mine.
Glorious Perfection, Colorful Creator, dance with me closely as I recognize you in the mirror’s light.
May I radiate your effortless might and elevate me as I freely give throughout this life.
For all is given to me beautifully; when I simply remember to open up and allow myself to receive.
It is not about what you say to me or even how it came to be.
It is not blood, as my reason to be kind, but knowing we are one in Divine Mind.
It never helps to get even, [...]
