Hi, my name is Chance. I have a friend named Jonah, we live in a treehouse. But when I say “Treehouse”, I mean the best treehouse in history! It had 50 stories, but we just added 10 new levels! We added A cartooning room, where Jonah can practice drawing. (and so I can learn how to draw more realistically.)
A rhyming room, where everything has to rhyme and I mean HAS to rhyme! If you don't, you get a suspension from the room! (Just for the rest of the day) A recording room, where you can record any time, anywhere, and….wait, I lied. You have to be in the room to record, or at least be within reach of the extension cords. A trampoline room, where the whole room is covered with trampolines! A privilege room, where you have to have the privilege to do anything in there! (I think you even have the privilege to go IN there!) A lying room, where you can do any kind of lie you want. A nap room, where you can go if you feel sleepy. And finally, a new room that Jonah has not yet finished! I wonder what it is!
Hello, If you're reading this book, you're probably wondering how long it takes us to finish our books. Well you see, it matters how long the book is. I mean you know how to like, let's say Like it would take longer to write a long book than a short book and how less time it would take for you when you write a short book than a big book.
Speaking of book writing, I have some good news! Our books have been so famous throughout the country, that a 5-star publisher has asked us to write a book for him!
“RING! RING! RING! RING! RING! RING!” And speaking of which, that must be him! I should answer this.
“What took you so long?!” yells the publisher. Thanks to our 3d screen, the big dude looks a little scary. He is just like our old boss. Big, loud, and yells a lot. I mean a lot. I almost lost my sense of hearing because of him.
“Sorry sir,” I say. “I was a little startled by the noise because I was telling the readers why it takes longer to make a bigger book than a smaller book.”
“Did you tell them that smaller books take less time to make than bigger books?” the publisher asks.
“Yes sir,” I say.
“Or that a bigger book takes longer to make because it is bigger?”
“Yes Yes, I've said all of that!” I say frustrated.
“Or how about that your book is due in three days?”
“Uhh, what?” I say.
“I said that your book is due in three days,” he says. “And make it fast!” After that, he hangs up and the screen goes black. That went…… well. And when I mean “Well” I mean so bad I want to set myself on fire.
“Hey, Chance!” yells a familiar voice. It's Jonah! “What was that? Who was that? Were you talking to our new boss? What was he like? Is he like our old boss? Is he loud? Is he big? Does he yell a lot? Does he.......?” I only hear the sound of Jonah yacking nonstop. I'm not even listening. Not that I can listen. He is taking too much of the speech.
“Shush,” I say. “Can you slow down?” “You're yapping more than a happy Puppy!”
“Sorry,'' says Jonah. “So, when is our book due?”
