Orchid also meets Damon, he goes to her school. She also has a relationship with the ring leader, Alabaster. Orchid is fed up with the circus, and she just wants to go home.

Meeting the Circus Crew.

The circus at night is scary. All the freaks come out and play. Orchid Slade and her friends went to the circus at night. Orchid’s friends are different, and said if she didn’t go she was gonna pay. So Orchid went. Orchid wasn’t going to lose her friends over not going to the circus. As soon as Orchid saw the alley where the circus was, she got sick. Her friends went ahead of her. Things got blurry. Orchid sat down.She sees a house and she gets up quick and runs to it. She opens the door and turn around, Orchid doesn’t see anyone. She sat on the bench next to the door, lay down, and closes her eyes. When she wakes up, there is a woman looking over her. Orchid looks around the room and sees the there is a picture of the woman who is talking to her. The woman’s name is Madam Diamond.

Madam Diamond asks, “Are you okay? I heard someone come in and I guess that was you.”

Orchid says, “    Yes I’m fine. Where am I? Who are you?”

Madam Diamond replied, “ You’re in the fun house and I’m the conductor. My name is Mary, but everyone calls me Madam Diamond.”

Orchid says worriedly, “I’m Orchid, but where are my friends? I came with friends.” Orchid sat and tried to catch her breath. She thought to herself “they wouldn’t of left you at the circus?”

Madam Diamond said, “ Your friends. They have names, right?”

Orchid giggled and says, “Yes, June and Taylor.”

Madam Diamond says questioning herself, “They work here.”
