Christmas Eve

The Jones Family was excited about Christmas Day, tomorrow. There was Mother Jones, a middle-aged brown-skinned housewife and mother of two, Papa Jones, a well-to-do businessman, Danny, their tech-savvy, teenaged son, and Darla, their precocious teenaged daughter. Each year, Mother Jones has a caterer to cook the Christmas feast so that everything would be "perfect." The food had arrived that morning and needed only to be heated up on Christmas day. The family had been shopping at malls all over the city all week long. Mother Jones had purchased several gifts for her family. For Papa Jones she got a new cell phone to replace the one he accidently dropped in the toilet a few weeks ago. For her two children, Danny and Darla, she bought designer jeans and shoes. Not to be out done, Papa Jones bought his wife a new car on which he placed a red bow on the front grill. And for his two children, he bought the latest electronic game system for them to play with together. The children used their allowance money to buy their mother and father gifts. For their mother, they bought a leather designer handbag and for their father, they got a designer suit.
