examtakenbyprospectiveCambridgeEngineeringapplicants.
WhatdoestheENGAAconsistof?

CambridgeEngineeringapplicantstendtobeabrightbunchandusuallyhave
excellentgrades,withmanyachievingover90%inalltheirAlevelsubjects.
Thismeansthatcompetitionisfierce–theENGAA,therefore,isrequiredfor
universitiestodifferentiatebetweenthesetopcandidates.

TheENGAAnormallytakesplaceinthefinalweekofOctoberorthefirst

perfectlyreflecttheexamyouwillbesittingthisyear.Specimenpapersare

haveworkedyourwaythroughthequestionsinthisbook,youarehighly
advisedtoattemptthem.

approximately,splitevenlybetweenGCSElevelandAlevel.Youmustanswer
40questionsin60minutes-therefore,thisisaverytime-pressuredsection.
Thequestionscanbequitedifficult,anditiseasytogetboggeddown.The
challengingnatureofthequestions,coupledwiththeintensetimepressureof
havingtodoonequestionevery90seconds,makesthisadifficultsection.

spendingafewhoursonbrushingupyourbasicmathsskillsmaydowonders
foryou.
