Ever wondered where angels come from? Is there an approach to reading the deeper meanings of the Bible? What is the difference between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of the heavens? The hope of the saints, one rapture or three? And then breaking bread, what are some of the differences presented in scripture? This book offers some answers to the foregoing and to some text that appears to be a dichotomy in content.

‘It is not possible that the inspired Word of God, the Bible, should contradict itself.’
The above is an absolute statement and faith in me believes it is true; and the passage of time has only confirmed the truth of it. Consequently when considering Bible content and there appears to be contradictory subject matter it is ignorance on my part in respect of my understanding and knowledge of God. To this end therefore one is responsible before God to enquire as to the full truth, and to pursue understanding until enlightened. This is household headship responsibility, one generation to the next, [1TIM 3:5 (but if one does not know how to conduct his own house, how shall he take care of the assembly of God?)].
Divine truth is passed on by word of mouth, [2TIM 2:2 And the things thou hast heard of me in the presence of many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men, such as shall be competent to instruct others also.]. And when discussed collectively there is opportunity for further development and expansion. Man’s written books of ministry, or for that matter any truth e.g. science, are time locked, i.e. if I read a 100 year old book, the content is the understanding of that time that I am learning. The truths in man’s 100 year old book I should already know having heard it from my parents and elders; the Divinely inspired Bible by contrast is living (not time locked, applicable in real time) and inexhaustible and can be likened to the river that flows from God’s house, [EZEK 47:1-5 And he brought me back to the door of the house; and behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the front of the house was eastward. And the waters came down from under, from the right side of the house, south of the altar. And he brought me out by the way of the gate northward, and led me round outside unto the outer gate towards [the gate] that looketh eastward; and behold, waters ran out on the right side. When the man went forth eastward, a line was in his hand; and he measured a thousand cubits, and he caused me to pass through the waters: the waters were to the ankles. And he measured a thousand [cubits], and caused me to pass through the waters: the waters were to the knees. And he measured a thousand and caused me to pass through: the waters were to the loins. And he measured a thousand: it was a river that I could not pass through, for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed through.].
James Duncan Gray of Edinburgh used to say, ‘listen to the old men, they are at the end of their lives that’s where you want to start yours.’ There are three noticeable things about Godly old men, (i) they are finished with this world, (ii) they reduce their library to one book (iii) they pursue communion with Christ.
