I dedicate this book to Debbie and Seether for saving my life and for giving me the opportunity to become a great story writer. I am forever grateful.
The scent of suffering lingered in the air. It was in that moment that I tried to understand just how it all worked. I struggled to put one foot in front of the next, staring at the meaningless reflections as I walked on the clear-coated floors.
I stepped through the doorway. No one seemed to notice, but the shadows and voices behind them told another story. I pulled the curtains back and watched as the nurses changed her drains. Mother kept them nestled on her shoulder tops. Their ends were attached to a hollow rod protruding through her head. Last evening, she fell and hit her head in an attempt to drink some late-night milk.
The ambulance rushed her to the hospital. I arrived shortly thereafter, walking in as the doctor delivered the grave news. Her scans were devastating. She had a golf-sized tumor in her cerebellum. It was aggressive and time was running short.
The doctor went on to say it was just one of the unlucky things. I listened as she described her symptoms: sloshing water, blinding sharp pain in the back of her head. A headache that caused her to be nauseous with anxiety and shaken with fear as she waited for it to attack her each day. This was a strong woman who nourished and raised me. She just seemed so vulnerable. Life can be cruel sometimes.
The nurse shut the door behind her and I asked, "Mother, can I get you anything?”
“Emails. Let’s open up my emails.”
That light was back in her eyes. Opening her emails had become a new ritual of ours. I picked up her phone, scrolling to one that seemed a bit suspicious.
“Mom, looks like they got you with the buy one and you are subscribed forever thing.” Slightly amused, she fell for that old trick. “I thought you were smarter than that!”
Handing her the phone. I watched her expression change as she read the email. “It was the day after I took these pills when I got my first headache."
“Who did you buy the pills from?"
She responded, "Fly Logic and Wellness.”
Duly noted, I wrote the name down on a piece of paper and put it in my pocket. I fell asleep on a small recliner next to her bed. We woke up just after dawn. Her surgery was at 8:00 am sharp.
Throwing it to God with one last swing. I kissed her on the forehead and reassured her that things were going to be alright before they wheeled her off to surgery.
That was the last time I saw her alive.

In these past two months, I have learned a lot about Flye Logic and Wellness. Finding information is pretty simple nowadays.
From internet searches alone, I was able to produce a list of people somehow linked to creating and pushing this pill. I have also discovered eight other deaths linked to this pill.
