Words of Grace covers a wide range of poems that explore areas of love, life, faith, hope, and perseverance.

Beyond the clouds of doubt and fear

A glimpse of hope will soon appear

Across the threshold of the door

A world designed for you to explore

Mirrors surround the walls within

Reflections of the King control the wind

Teaching you to trust and persevere

Beyond the doorway, he will appear

RESILIENT LIGHT

From a distance, I see a light on a hill

Rivers of radiant waters rush from its peak

A brilliant display of charisma and zeal

The spirit is willing but the flesh is so weak

Sustained by the prayers of powerful saints

Purified by fire, washed in the waters of hope

We may fall at times but the spirit never faints

God has given us all the blessed ability to cope

Rise up and claim what's destined to be yours

His name is written on the hearts of the wise

Repent and heal the wounds of forbidden sores

Open the door to your heart, He will open our eyes

12 - STRATEGIES

1)Recognize:

to identify as something or someone

previously seen, known, etc.

Recognize

Awaken the sleeping soul of satisfaction, existing only to sustain

Erase the memories of resentment, the dark cloud will remain

Engineer a clear revelation of who you are and why you were created

The heart that beats inside is it for pride or waiting to be reinstated

One thing I know to ring true, with the eternal voice of wisdom it'll ring

We will never understand who we truly are until we recognize the King

This can't be done without the Chosen One, Christ came to set souls free

He knocks at the door, you've heard it I'm sure, but will you turn the key

Time will run out on many souls who resist the inevitable conclusion

You've heard the knock, don't check the clock, reality is no illusion

Recognize your destiny, your moment of conception has arrived

Unless you have learned to live for Christ, you've never been alive

2)Acknowledge:

to admit to be real or true;

recognize the existence, truth, or fact

Acknowledge

We can see His perfection in the warmth of the sun

In the rain the pours down on the flowers that grow

We see Him when the eagle soars, or when the tigers run

We see Him in the newborn child, their skin seems to glow

But do we see Him when we look in the mirror, is He in our eyes

Is He in the hearts of the homeless that have nowhere to go

Acknowledge the King for who He is, feel your spirit start to rise

Look in the mirror and see yourself as His own, blessing He will bestow

Acknowledge the word of God for what it is, a testimony of true faith

You'll experience streams, wonderful dreams as river of living water flow

Become one with the Father and Son, the Holy Spirit will keep you safe

Keep in mind to acknowledge mankind, His infinite harvest will overflow

3) Surrender

to yield (something) to the possession

or power of another; deliver up

possession of on demand or under duress

Surrender

Sweat pours profusely from the heads of captive slaves

Constantly shackled by what the soul continuously craves

Chills run down your spine as you find there is no way out

Spirits try to conjure lost courage, your mind begins to shout

The knock on the door you have ignored for years is now within reach

Your mouth searches for proper words to say but can't formulate speech

A desperate cry is all He longs to hear in order to quickly respond

Deciphering who's truly sincere, to commence a supernatural bond

Collapsing to your hands and knees, falling prostrate on the ground

A metamorphosis occurs, slaves becomes saints, hearts begins to pound

Restless souls seeking shelter have found a place to dwell

The One on the cross, rescuing the lost, has freed you from your cell

4) Meditate:

to engage in thought or contemplation; reflect.

Meditate

Close your eyes for a moment and begin take a deep breath

Exhale all of the memories that fill your chronicled mind

Investigate every aspect 'til there is no negotiating left

Complexities of the conscious and moral structures intertwine

Relax your muscles and mental faculties, focus on the wind

Extend your arms to the heavens and thank God you are alive

Feel the breeze of your Savior's decrees cleansing you of sin

The spirit that seeks this calming peace will find a way to strive

Washing away unethical decay that may cast a spell on your past

You are released, the claws of the beast can bind you no more

Claim the cross in the land of the lost, you see memories fading fast

An abandoned ship lost at see soon finds its way to the celestial shore

5) DEVELOP:

to bring out the capabilities or

possibilities of; bring to a more

advanced or effective state.

Develop

Established from the rebirth of spiritual design

All attributes disabled, supernaturally redefined

Feel the surge of stable plasma infiltrate your brain

Past products of lethargic activity reluctantly remain

The fusion of new Kingdom thoughts captivate in whole

Firm foundation of a mental capacity in complete control

Blessings from above transfer into vessels willing and bold

Gradual antidotes for success are anticipating to unfold

Like the sun, we rise, focused and locked on future trends

Developing into true children of God as His favor extends

6) TRANSFORM:

1.to change in form, appearance,

or structure; metamorphose.

2.to change in condition, nature,

or character; convert.

3.to change into another

substance; transmute.

Transform

Even a snake is known to shed its skin

Illuminating features changes within

Chains break away as slaves are set free

Transformed through grace into eternal Royalty

A bloodline to redefine miraculous strength

Collecting sweet blessings in immeasurable length

Fortified faith embodies a human mass of grace

The brilliant light of God's might shines on your face

Transformed into a clan to stand the test of time

Embrace the Son of man, He alters the face of mankind

7)Identity:

I see a lady standing at the edge of a pond

Her reflection fades as the sun begins to set

Afraid of the present darkness, an unbearable bond

Trying her best to erase a memory full of regret

Praying the reflection's stain will change overnight

She ponders possible ways to face the days ahead

Surrounded by the shades of sin impairing her sight

Before her eyes, the sun will rise while dark powers fled

She sees a reflection of a princess glistening like a star

Stunning spiritual tranquility, embellished by grace

Angels passionately pray that you may know who you are

A sparkling display, heavenly rays of love transform your face

8)Imagine:

1. to form a mental image of

Imagine why you were placed in this position in time

Who are you catering to, the world or your calling

Imagine being present as He perfected His design

To refuse to use the ultimate gift is extremely appalling

God imagined mankind as He brought us forth from the clay

He envisioned the sea and all that would be dwelling in its depths

we are told that we were made in His image, he imagined us that way

As we enter through this doorway, we must continue with baby steps

Imagine the words that you speak changing lives or breaking strongholds

We are instruments of our Lord's most intricate design

The more we imagine harnessing His traits, the more blessings will unfold

Imagine its synonymous to seek, seek and you shall find

9) Establish:

1. to found, institute, build,

or bring into being on a firm or stable basis

Establish

A paramount process, the prelude of a personal prize

Distinguishing doctrinal direction, disregarding any disguise

Made to manifest the Master's miraculous ministries of man

Stabilize your state of mind, strengthened to take a stand

No fabrication, fantastically fashioned fruit from freedom's tree

Established in the essence of empowerment throughout eternity

Form the foundation full of favor, a fortress where fear fades

Spirits of sin shiver as you strip shackles and scatter charades

10) Expand:

1.to increase in extent, size,

volume, scope, etc.:

Expand

An infectious dream can cause a chain reaction of pure hope

Once it is shown that you are one of God's own, it will expand

Many stars in heaven can be seen trough a powerful telescope

But its Creator hold His chosen children in the palm of His hand

Blowing the breath of expedient grace on all done in His name

Perplexities made simple when touched by the finger of God

Like the stars in the sky, we multiply to give the Lord due fame

Prayers are answered with the agility of an electrifying lightning rod

The meek shall inherit the earth, the wise will overcome all fear

Walk in union with the King of all Kings and discover riches unknown

What once walked in the darkness of shifting shadows in now crystal clear

He will expand our land as we heed His command on the pathway Home

11) Testify:

1. to bear witness; give or afford evidence.

2. Law. to give testimony under oath

or solemn affirmation, usually in court.

3. to make solemn declaration.

Testify

Turn around and take a look at your life

See the changes that faith has made

The word of God, to a sinner, cuts like a knife

To a believer, it cleanses as sins fade

Once lost, now found by the Father of all

Introduce others to the sensation you feel

He honors all who have chosen to answer His call

Testify of His love to many with much zeal

Stand up on the glorious hill and be seen

Let all know how the transformation took place

Now there can be no wavering in between

You must work hard and persevere to win the race!

12) Glorify:

1. to honor with praise, admiration,

or worship; extol.

2. to make glorious; invest with glory.

3. to praise the glory of (God),

Glorify

Hanging on by a thread, spirit-led, heaven bound

Intrinsically fed, He placed on me a precious crown

Fill me up, oh Lord, so I may shine so bright

Radiant waves to captivate slaves and provide lucid sight

I cling to you, my Father, my Lord

Spiritually nourished by digesting your sword

Learning to fly while reestablishing my faith

In the darkness I'll not cry, for I know I am safe

Father, you have been my reason for living

For this I will gladly share praise and thanksgiving

I stand alone, kneel at your throne to receive my new name

A Knight in shining armor through purifying flames

This thread by which I hang is my umbilical cord

That attaches me to my Father, my sweet, precious Lord!
